I agree that the time to play nice is long past, but you can't forget that "The Dems" tried it in Maryland and were immediately striken down because it's bad when Democrats do it. And that point of existing gerrymandering is already to eliminate the possibility of Democratic majorities, so Democrats don't often have the chance to be the gerrymandering party.

And the Republicans are about due to start their decadal 'Census Bad' campaign to screw with apportionment.

That sucks. Was it out of the blue or had he been struggling for a while? Just a reminder to be friendly no matter what. You never know what other people are going through.
It's hard to say. Like, he was appearing on shows and seemed so bright, but he was sending messages to us each that were so...tentative. Like, one of our big stars got a [paraphrased] "Hell, yeah, brother, let's do it by the end of the year! .... .... .... but first I need a break."

Which, on the one hand, we all get it's show season, Mother's Day, all that. But then he posted a really definite video on social and then we all started getting the news. His promos had been getting more disjointed [but in a reasonably kayfabe way] and he had been idolizing one of our problematic guys, but I don't think it was anything there were clear signs of. He rented an apartment with another one of our wrestlers who seemed even keel before this. But who goddamned knows.

It's hard to describe what you like, but "I love to laugh" is a nice baseline. Some people are quiet or put more weight on things like quiet/serious pastimes that aim for a different type of less frequent comedy (I dunno, knitting, crosswords, museum patronage, etc.).

It's freaking killer when someone is dull and can't/won't/doesn't at least pay lip service to being interesting. I went on a date with someone I literally met doing a stand-up comedy set the whole date, they were so profoundly boring. They described the comedy stuff as a persona they put on because they loved how it felt and how hard they worked sitting down to write jokes. No jokes or levity were had on that date that weren't from me trying really hard.
