Even if all the Tariff stuff ended tomorrow, prices wouldn't go back to normal right away, and even if prices go down they are very unlikely to go back to where they were.

And the only way to prevent that would have been if companies had called out the portion of the price that was due to tariffs separately. But someone threw a tantrum when Amazon was considering doing that, so now consumers are going to get screwed over.

I think the biggest advantage to RFK Jr. being president is that he doesn't have the same cult-like following as Trump. So if he was in the White House doing the exact same things he might actually be facing consequences for his actions.

Based on how Trump typically operates, if you tried to collect on the million dollars he would probably claim you pushed him off the cliff in the first place and should be executed.

Looks like it is supposed to get down to -20F tomorrow night. I was actually going to go into the office on Tuesday since they are providing breakfast, but may have to reconsider with the temperature that low.

I just finished the book the other day. The most depressing part about the whole thing was realizing that, best case scenario, I will be like 60 by the time the last book releases.

Personally I find it easier with things like movies where a specific person may be problematic, but hundreds of other people worked on it.
With books it can be harder to ignore it when the author is a bad person, since they had complete creative control over the work.

Other than candy for stockings I've been done since Thanksgiving.

I think I was 151 when I weighed myself this morning, but generally am either slightly above or slightly below 150.

The kids are with my ex wife on Thanksgiving, so that day I'll probably just sit at home alone and play video games.
We're going over to my parent's house on Saturday for a late Thanksgiving, and probably spending most of the rest of the weekend decorating for Christmas and making gingerbread houses with the kids.
