The picture quality of the Kobo over physical manga is absurd. That plus the convenience, physical storage (books are heavy and take up lots of space despite looking really nice) is a no-brainer.

Since I own the Kobo already for the above reasons any new books I buy are digital and I've found even books I already own I'm usually happy to purchase again just so I can leave it on the shelf (or in it's storage box).

I used Mint for less than a week with the intention of fully migrating, but I had a problem that I later diagnosed to be an issue with X11 and multiple monitors with different refresh rates.

I haven't watched the video yet but I'm Google Photos is so hard to get rid of. I have immich setup and running for months that I can access with a personal VM but it's so tedious to check my backs are good every so often. I can lose a lot but I don't want to lose my photos even if every pixel is being scanned but I so desperately don't want that.

I got my first mount in WoW because (I can't remember which) but I think training was expensive and the mounts were cheap, but then a patch switched them over so the mount was expensive and the training was cheap.

Kinda depends, walking everywhere when you're povo is lame but when you're strong and/or rich enough to afford all the flight paths and friends with teleports that makes those moments even better than if you just had fast travel in the beginning.

Obv everyone has different thresholds for how rewarding/enjoyable that is.

Morrowind is so shit in the beginning walking everywhere, but by end game when you're teleporting and flying across the map with speed enchants you really see how far you've come.

I got a new water heater + install for AUD$300 with a 10 yr warranty (only 40L though).

Lots of computer stores will let you buy custom PC's too, build it for a fee but then include a 1yr warranty on the whole box. Doesn't always have to be pre-built.

I don't use a case or a screen protector but I consider smart phones as a 4-5 year electronic consumable+ I have the cash to just buy a new one if I break it.
