lilORANG
06/08/24 8:47:59 PM

MOS was mid for an action movie but pretty dumb for a Superman movie

BvS was a sloggy borefest that rushed the hell out of Batman's intro and feud with Supes and the climax basically got memed to death bc the Martha thing is ridiculous. Plus wonder woman shoehorned in. Basically they wanted a billion dollar avengers movie without earning the buildup.

Then JL was lame and I don't even remember what happened after bc that whole universe lost all good will.

I think the first Shazam was ok?

And there was a SS movie (that I didn't see) but I got plenty of laughs from the "this is katana" scene that got spammed around and apparently that was terrible too.

Tldr shitty movies early on led to lost interest for maybe slightly improved movies down the road.

Basically blame Snyder.

Uh, no. Lots of people "viewed" her first game on a Twitter stream. So even calling them "people" is generous, since Twitter is invested with bots. But any time the link gets clicked it counts as a view. You can't possibly believe millions watched a pre-season game and then haven't been turning out for the actual season, can you?

I think you'd be wrong. A gradual increase in viewership from year to year is one thing. The enormous bump we're seeing this year, both for Iowa games during the NCAA tournament and now with Fever games, can only be attributed to one person.
