I'd play Ark Ascended but it keeps stuttering on my Series X. Didn't do that at launch but it does now.

I don't have issues on my ps5. What map are you getting issues on? I've only done abberation, Island, and Ragnarok.

If you read the page, it does generally have a vestigial tail.

The tail being absent is an uncommon mutation.

I'm surprised people are ranking 6 above 1. Soul Calibur 1 was such a blast with Team Battle mode. 6 nixed that, added annoying cutscenes during battle that break-up the action (I played it very casually so I'd have to look up what those special moves are called in-game), and forced a depth-of-field effect that blurs all of the background.

Honestly it all comes down to 1 not really holding up. You can go back and replay 2, 3, 4, and 6 and have a blast.
1 and soul blade feel so clunky and gross imo that I just can't ever go back to them.

Right? The weapon and playstyle variety is unmatched.
Doing CaC in 4 and 5 was such a letdown with how limited they are.
6 improves a lot, but is still way behind.

The create a character and solo content in SC3 is so far and above what other games offer. I don't play online/versus others so it is the king for me

I unfortunately had the experience of starting college a decade too late. It's not even an older guy/younger girl thing - it's just how they know how to be friendly.

It's not fun to deal with and it's best to ignore it if you can.

I don't miss uni. I feel like Uni people are a totally different species.

She made a joke along the lines of "it's boring. There's an RV over there with AC and real comfy beds" I'm certain she meant it as in "we could nap and nobody would notice"

Ignore it. Do not bring it up with her or any other coworkers. This will make things awkward, especially if it's not what you think. Do not joke with her in a way that could be considered flirty. Don't be unfriendly or anything like that. Just ignore any potentially flirty comments that she makes. Don't engage with it at all.

Only person I would even think to mention it to is my wife and maybe my supe. Just to cya.

Yeah, she probably just sees you as "guy friend" and doesn't quite understand appropriate boundaries for a work place.

I know I shouldn't paint people with broad brush strokes, but I've had friends around that age who have innocently crossed boundaries before.

I don't typically interact with people that young. Thankfully.

Is she a tom boy or something? I'm reading some signs of sexual tension from this. It could be that she wants to be your friend but it'd honestly never work that way. You're her supervisor, for one, and for two, while boys and girls CAN be friends, there is definitely some sort of line not to cross and never at work.

You should definitely talk to your wife about it. Two heads are better than one.

She's worked in more than one blue collar job. Wouldn't describe her as a "Tom boy" from my interactions. She's not "legally blonde" either.

To avoid awkwardness or a bad situation, assume that until it becomes actual harassment.

There are two things to consider, some people come off as flirty when theyre friendly. And flirting isn't always conscious, she might not be fully aware she's doing it but she has no "intentions".

Honestly that's where I'm landing. I'm more worried about optics with the team and how it might be perceived. She got promoted fast and has much more responsibility than people who've been on the team 1-3 years longer.

I'd say just make sure you're very aware of your hands and what you say. Don't say or do anything that might be misconstrued. Also, don't initiate the subject or if you do, maybe just say you're uncomfortable but don't hint that she might like you or anything.

I don't know if making the assumption can get you in trouble or not so that's just me being extremely cautious.

I definitely will not be opening the discussion with her. If I am reading into it I now open the door to complaints and awkwardness.
We work a very physical job, but luckily not in too close of proximity.

She's also joined the joking and convos we have, which I have no problem with. But she ramps up the raunchiness when it's us two

I'm one of her direct supervisors, and there's also a 10 or 11 year age gap.
We work in a blue collar industry, and HR is not what I'm concerned about.

I think she's getting a little too close/friendly and don't want there to be any rumors or risk of any weirdness on the team.

Well, Ill say Ive been playing for a few hours and it still feels prologuey, but it didnt take super long to get to combat, though at the moment it still feels limited.

I know combat is a relatively small part of the atelier games, but if it's bad I can't get into it.
I love Stardew and Rune Factory. They both have different niches, and combat is very basic but enjoyable in both.
Firis angered me because it took forever for you to do anything meaningful. It was 3 hours of go here, talk to this person, go here and gather one flower, go here and gather one ore.
Just tedious. It's good to hear this one is better, I might pick it up!

Last atelier game I played was Firis, and I returned it within a day. Took almost 2 hours to get to the first combat, and another hour to get out of "prologue"/intro territory.

The pacing just lost me completely.
Let us know how this one feels!
