I can't not recommend this enough. A lot of anectdotes about ego death are exaggerated and if you're in a headspace where your mental health can make a complete 180 from doing psychedelics you probably didn't need them that much to begin with.

Funny enough, I'm only hearing about the positives of psychedelics in recent history. The War on Drugs has done so much damage, that I believe that it'll take multiple generations to put psychedelics back in a positive light.

Agree to disagree. Even the article basically states that you really only need just enough selfishness to keep yourself healthy and productive. Anything more, imo, could easily be twisted in justifying selfish behavior, which many Humans would jump at.

Also, Being selfish is not bad. You have to take care of yourself before you can care for others. There's both healthy selfishness and unhealthy selfishness.

I see selfishness the same way I do the supposed 7 deadly sins from the Bible. In moderation, those "sins" are actually good things. Unfortunately, most people use them quite excessively. The same goes with selfishness, although imo, should be used in even less moderation (like wrath and gluttony).

He did not elaborate on that symbol. But a Politico story on the matter included a picture it obtained of an American flag altered to include a swastika. The flag was attached to a bulletin board.

The content of that image does not reflect the values or standards of this office, my staff, or myself, and I condemn it in the strongest terms, Taylor said. Upon learning of this matter, I immediately directed a thorough investigation alongside Capitol Police, which remains ongoing. No further comment will be provided until it has been completed.

Taylor made the statement on his congressional website with a headline that referred to the matter as office vandalism.

Cant say I agree with you. Being able to ignore not just our own, but the rest of the worlds politics generally is a privilege few countrys have. Its not ignorance, stupidity or any such rubbish.

Hell our government has been shut down for weeks now and very few seem to notice or care. I myself forget until the news mentions it occasionally.
