Ugh there was basically a confirmation that we're getting 3 movies to end Demon Slayer. Oh well, at least it'll look even nicer I guess.

I think it goes to show that once we reached the HD era, more or less, game stopped "aging" as fast.

Yeah even before this game was announced I feared a Zelda game would mean going down the pipeline of making it easy because girl protagonist = girl audience = casual

But nothing about the presentation treated it like anything else than the next Zelda.

No one wanted to play a FPS on the DS. And multiplayer focus is kind of anathema to the hardcore Metroid fanbase.

At least mariorpg added post-game bosses to make up for the even easier main game.

Not saying you're wrong but since my post was quoted just know that I represent an uptick for FF12! But I can't be a primary backer. Also Balthier is less interesting to me than a Basch or Ashe run. And one day I think a Vaan/Vayne run would be cool.

Honestly I expected Clive to be the less popular one which is why I give him my save first.

But either way it's fine because I've been able to hold out for FFXII characters so far. If it ever came down to it they'd get cut loose first.

Man if Elusive Samurai isn't on crunchy, that'd make like 3 Weekly Jump series in a row.

Naming enemy treasure chests "Huhwhat" was a great localization choice for the Mario RPG remake.

The original localization tried to make things less goofy for some reason. Maybe decades of Mario RPGs made them realize humor was the main draw!

I wouldn't call them a difficulty cliff though!

Also my memory of a low percent 3-heart run (picking up nothing that isn't required to beat the game, so not swordless), I had to give up at level 8 because the darknut rooms have to be beaten everytime you enter. I think 6 only has 1 mandatory wizzrobe room. And Gohma is so easy!

That has the worst of all of them lol. Huge random difficulty spike in the middle followed by a difficulty cliff.

no way you think level 9 is easy!

Also level 8 is imo harder than 6 or roughly the same.

I actually knew about this one for a while, but I did see other people rumoring a new game starring Zelda.

I guess you could argue Great Bay is tougher than Stone Tower but Majora's Mask did it pretty well!
