Lol does Brutal Legend Demo to --> Brutal Legend game count, because I was almost going to be suckered into buying the game based on the fun demo if helpful internet denizens hadn't warned me that the game is actually one of those RTS types, not a fun action adventure with jack black.

Also I wouldn't necessarily say jak dax "worked" but then again I never liked that series, for me sly cooper was the best of the sony ps2 era second party offerings, followed closely by ratchet and clank which was at least closer to being a fun platformer than jak daxter.

Wary of pure horror as usual. Is loving Bruce Campbell enough of a reason to try them out, or is something more substantial needed?

No but seriously I was shocked how much I really clicked with that game. And with modern polishing? It would be even better. It's the only game of the series I actually straight up like. The others I tolerate for the great unmatched voice acting, but Blood Omen was actually fun to play.

Becoming mist, bat to fast travel, turning into a wolf... honestly was a great game and I'm curious if there are others like it. I want to say it was like a more open world 3d/isometric symphony of the night?

What media were you thinking of for the running water bit?

Edit: somehow I knew/suspected it was Castlevania but I don't know why it was that I thought of symphony of the night. Must be a latent memory.

So glad to talk about this movie with someone, I absolutely loved this movie when I first saw it. To this day that scene where they just turn their back on the racist tirade and don't engage lives rent free in my head. I kind of wonder why internet denizens aren't able to do that but oh well.

A lot of it, especially the spirit of it still holds up today.

I don't know why they called it a comedy, that movie was a lot scarier than I thought, and the tone is absolutely not one of a comedy. I thought I would be getting something like that old movie Mom's dating a teenage vampire, but instead I got a lot more horror than I bargained for

This and American Psycho 2, I just avoided at all cost. Never watched the trailers. They don't exist in my mind.

But american psycho 2, has mila kunis, so I've always wanted to see it. I just don't want to watch it, if that makes any sense?

I mean yeah I wouldn't say there's love lost for alpha dream necessarily, but I'm just more surprised that after decades the next mario luigi title ended up being... this poorly received. Don't know what is it about Nintendo and rpgs in the last 15 years I don't think I've liked anything from them besides when they finally brought Xenoblade to the Wii, and they didn't even do that!

He got a nothing burger title from the '24 administration that did very little, if anything, to get him seated back in Hollywood. Also keep in mind that the dude is 70, doesn't have great health, and probably close to zero connections outside his private circle for movies or roles.

I do think he's a phenomenal actor, tbh, and it has sucked to not get 20 years of material out of him since he was blacklisted. But it's no one else's fault but his own, and is what it is.

Yeah although I wouldn't say it "sucked" necessarily, I mean tv shows got plenty of material out of making fun of him, and really after Braveheart there's not much worth seeing from him is there, maybe payback.

Not scary? I was plenty scared back then. Of not getting a followup to this amazing movie. That body horror scene of freddy and the bed and the woman lives with rent in my head

It's kinda wild that one tweet, one bizarre firing, changed the entire trajectory of the entire new arc.

So now they dropped it and just doing another one and I guess they paid neve extra hard. They didn't bring her on last time because they were paying jenna and melissa, but now that both are gone I guess they had enough money to pay neve cambell.

American Auto was his follow up after Superstore but pretty sure that got screwed from the pandemic. Highly, highly recommend watching it. Only two seasons but they are fucking hilarious.

I definitely was completely floored by Xenoblade's zanza reveal. The fact that they telegraphed Dickson, mumkar and maybe even Fiora twist made me drop my guard so that what was eventually revealed ended up being jaw dropping.

Which video should I use for the whole "beginner's guide to what Microsoft settings to turn off for windows 11" especially since I'm not interested in any AI tools or anything really, I just want a simple barebones experience. Hell the way I used windows 10 could be replicated in windows XP, I'm really not looking to do any overly extravagant programming or softwaring

Basically the fact is Xenoblade was able to do in one game, what the other Xenos couldn't do in 3 games, and yes even 4 games. Actually provide a complete and engaging story. Plus the fact that Xenoblade alone was longer and more filling than all 4 previous games combined really solidifies how it's more bang for your buck.

Shion changed so much mostly because her design and English voice actress changed. She was back to normal by episode 3.

Ziggy, MOMO, Rubedo, chaos, Shion, and KOS-MOS were all far more interesting characters than any playable character in Xenoblade. Albedo alone is better than almost every antagonist XB has to offer besides maybe Dickson

Yeah I liked ziggy, I liked chaos. What I found funny/liked about episode 2 is that they made momo the strongest character in battle somehow. Only k-bot is comparable but she's probably supposed to be the strongest for all 3 episodes considering she was literally created for it by the scientists.

Still, I can't say I liked them more than XB, especially when you could actually bond with your characters, plus they go on an adventure throughout an entire continent and landscape and have time to bond while xenosaga characters... are just there. And then episode 3 quickly tries to wrap everything up and is like "this dude was this dude this whole time, this dude was that dude, etc etc"

Seriously, why did my cousins spend hundreds of hours on this game (or was it gt 4, I can never tell) maybe you can shed some light on this for me. I just wanted to play gta 3 but they were obsessed with this game and I couldn't quite get it whilst watching them play during every sleepover.

I thought this was the wikipedia dedicated to that star wars green baby yoda thing once they revealed its real name. What am I thinking of?
