100% agree with this one. I have a Chromebook, a desktop that is capable of dual booting Linux mint and windows 7, not sure when the last time I used that option was, a MacBook, a Samsung galaxy s21, an iPhone 16 pro, a tablet, a kindle, and probably some other devices I am not even remembering off the top of my head. The only time I miss windows is when there are some windows exclusive games or applications that are annoying to run on Mac or Linux. I have to use new windows systems at work and hate them. There are ads on my taskbar. Why are there ads on my taskbar? Im sure there is a minimalist shell I could download if I wanted to, but I dont want to support Microsoft by buying shitty products of if I dont need them.

I enjoy them as a medium, but there are no good comic stores in my area. I buy some online occasionally, but mostly stick to webcomics.

Make it a million euros and sure.

I use both. Sometimes at the same time. I prefer reading but audio books are very convenient. Which reminds me I have 10 audible credits expiring in a week. So now I have to go on a shopping spree.

I wish we saw more of Vincent Adultman.

I dropped it around the same time but before the event you are allluding to. The series just started getting boring after the fight against, I forgot his name, but I think he was number 2 in the world.

The last time I had cable was about 15 years ago and it was over $100 a month for the bad package that included 5 channels I watched and 120 I didnt. I was in the mid tier package for $150 (promotional price that every time it ended you would have to call and ask for the rate to be lowered to again.) a month in order to get access to the channels I actually wanted.

I just checked my two local cable companies. They still have contracts, and basically just include streaming service bundles instead of the cable I was familiar with growing up. So why use them when I can just get one or two services at a time and rotate them around for $30 a month?

Shit, I curb stomped the entire Elite Four + Nemona with my level 100 Meowscarada in Violet. If you're strong enough, the base game is always a joke. And it's not even "hard" to get that strong. I got there on accident just playing the game naturally.

I havent really played much past diamond and pearl. I think I played through shield once or twice, but it was so easy it was boring, so I dont have enough experience with the end game to say how easy it is to solo or use bad Pokmon. As a bug catcher Im pretty used to only using good Pokmon.

Extremely easily in the first 5 or 6 gens iirc. Raticate and pigeon are not awful Pokmon and an over leveled starter can pretty much sweep.

The animation is very dated. But its still a pretty good movie.

I think kids deserve a summer break. That said, I dont think it needs to be 3 months long. Shorten it from 12 weeks to 6 and give them some extra time in winter and spring breaks.

Sorry but some clothes are just too pretty to not wear.

That's why I'm glad they usually look to make it more safe. The people against it are weird, they're only entertained when people are being dangerous.

Im not an expert, but from my understanding it is the constant acceleration into a sudden stop that causes the brain to get damaged internally. When the game requires you to practice tackling so often, what safety measures are they introducing that makes the game any safer? A better helmet isnt going to make your brain any less bruised. Last I heard there was a lower amount of CTE in other contact sports suggesting the helmets might actually be a negative in the prevention of it as it encourages the athletes to accelerate faster and hit with more force.

Football is terrible for us as a society. CTE has been shown to affect students who play contact football even at a young age.

Nothing, because 14-year old girl me presumably doesn't have a legal identity, and thus would be under no obligation to attend school (nor would anyone miss her/me if I didn't show up). And if anything, it would probably be kind of creepy for an almost 50-year old man to go to school as a 14-year old girl, especially during gym class.

You have already touched on question 2. Now that we know you are not going to school, we need to come up with answers for if you are stopped and investigated while other kids your age are supposed to be in school. We are going to need an identity for your new body. Any ideas?

theyre ok. As a candy bar they are kind of boring and as chocolate it is pretty sub par, but they go good on smores and I like sucking on the squares until they melt. Unless I need them for something, like smores, Im not buying them, but if someone gives me them free Im not throwing them away either.

i know Anne of the green gables was a popular book series, but did it just enter public domain or something? because all of a sudden I am seeing multiple television series based on it, movies, and even an anime all from the last few years.

I like her older stuff better than her new stuff, but Ill probably hear it eventually. Its just not something so go out of my way to listen to.

if I had a nickel for every time I start an anime expecting wholesome family vibes that turns incestuous, I would have 2 nickels, which isnt a lot, but its weird that its happened twice.

I absolutely hate making plans with other people. I have no idea if I am going to want to be social two weeks from now or not. What kind of week am I going to have? What kind of mood will I be in? I wont not make plans because even though I do hate them I realize I am in the minority of people who can just wake up and say they are taking a 4 day trip to Chicago just because I feel like it. If I want to go with someone I generally have to ask ahead of time.

for something like a family gathering Ill probably make a commitment to show up as long as I dont have work, but I wont promise bringing any specific dish or promise staying for any specific length of time

It doesnt really matter if you do or if you dont. You are asking about new uninitiated readers. And accurate or not that very much is the view of non comic readers.

I read comics and it is a thing that bugs me about them. Then again I dont read too many super hero comics. Im not a fan of the genre. It doesnt help that comic book stores are generally 75 percent or more marvel and dc comics. Because a big part of the comic culture isnt reading good stories in a great medium, its collecting.

Id blame Aladdin before I blamed shrek. Not that shrek helped, but the absolute marketing campaign Disney ran pushing robin williams as the genie set the tone for celebrity talents over story and voice actors. The comedy taking attention from the story. Aladdin was successful and they wanted to copy the easy route of getting big names to draw people in. Instead of relying on story and art.

I havent seen it yet but it is on my to watch list. Glad to hear it will be a good watch. There are so many amazing movies that people dont even hear about because they arent one of the big Hollywood studios. Cartoon saloon has received 5 academy award nominations and yet most people dont know them. Even the people who vote in the academy awards say they didnt even bother watching the films and just voted for the Disney movie their kid went to see.

Check out animation from other countries. Plenty of traditional animation coming out of Asia and Europe.

Its a cute dress. Would wear 10/10

I've never seen the Lord of the Rings movies, or a full Star Wars movie. I've only seen bits and pieces of a few Star Wars movies, and I just never got around to seeing LotR. I once tried to read the books but got burnt out from all the descriptions of scenery. But The Hobbit is one of my favorite books.

Sort of the same here. I think between all the bits and pieces Ive seen over the years Ive seen all of the original Star Wars movies and most of the Anakin trilogy, but not all at once and not in order. I also saw the first lord of the rings movie while in a car on vacation with my cousin watching on a portable dvd player but not the second or third movies.

when I was around 12-13 I would cry myself to sleep and curse god because I was a boy and not a girl.

I hate their UI, and it seems like their selection of series are not worth the price. That said. It does have some good exclusives, just not nearly good enough to compare it to prime, Netflix, or other big streaming services.
