It's been old news for about a month. Some lady suing because Cold Stone Creamery had a pistachio ice cream with no pistachios in them.

20 or 30 minutes. Enough to get a couple innings of kickball in. Sometimes it might have been shorter due to half days or none if you had to close early.

You can't "call someone out" on something that only exists in your mind. Lol try harder
It exists outside of your neck of the woods. Lol stay mad
Again, this difference between ice levels at different types of restaurants only exists in your fantasy land
Again, it exists outside of your neck of the woods.
You said you won't eat there because it's too expensive despite the better quality. I'm telling you that you're actually getting ripped off more at cheaper fast food places because the quality is so terrible despite only being 2-4 bucks cheaper, depending on where you go.
So Wendy's quality is terrible? Or Burger King for that matter? Your generalization tells me you don't know what you're talking about.
I eat at home mostly so for me a couple extra bucks for better food isn't a big deal when I go out. But if you live on fast food then I guess I understand the desire to get the absolute cheapest shit possible every time
Eye roll. You don't get it.

I think it's odd that you're trying to pretend you know more about restaurants than me because you claim "regular" sit down restaurants pour more ice in your cup than fast food. Pretty goofy angle for you to take lol. I've worked in several restaurants and bars of different types (thankfully I don't anymore because working in restaurants and bars fucking sucks).
There's nothing goofy about what I'm saying. You're just bothered that someone called you out on it.
But either way, you don't need to work in restaurants to know that the claim you're making is backed by nothing. Saying sit down restaurants pour more ice in your cup than fast food is objectively false. Sit down or fast food, they're taught to fill the cup with ice. Only if requested otherwise will they do lite or no ice
Sit down restaurants mess with customers with a ton of ice in the drinks than you would if you sat down at a fast food place. Maybe your neck of the woods doesn't do it where you eat, but I can assure you it is a problem in other places.
But that's all beside the point. The point is really that it's worth the extra couple of bucks imo to get a far superior burger to the garbage you'll get at McDonald's/burger king/Wendy's/Hardee's, etc. In terms of the return for your money, five guys is actually a better deal because the quality is noticeably better despite being only a couple more bucks. And the other point is that if you're worried about a couple bucks then don't get a drink because that's really where you're just throwing money away. Just go to the grocery store and buy a 12 pack of sodas and that'll save you a ton
Facepalm. No one's arguing about the quality.

No there isn't lol. The only disrinction at a a sit down restaurant is you get a glass and not styrofoam. I've worked in restaurants and bars my dude. If anything, fast food places are MORE prone to fill it up with ice, unless you dine in and can fill it up yourself at the fountain. But I've seen your posts before. You always seem like you don't know what you're talking about. That fast food and soda diet is frying your brain
I'm a lot healthier than you think, so spare the fat insults. I just have a little more knowledge on how stuff happens in fast food and restaurants because I've worked in them. I don't think you have any clue what I or Diktain are talking about.

Nope definitely not. Granted, I don't order sodas from fast food places because I'm not 400 lbs. Definitely see other people's drinks loaded with ice though. Don't know what fast food places you're going where they don't do that or why you think there would be a distinction between a regular restaurant and a fast food place in terms of making money screwing people over on drinks. That's standard restaurant business practice no matter if it's fast casual, fast food, etc.

Only place where that may not apply is an actual really nice restaurant because they're making their money on the 130 dollar steak dinner plate instead of the couple extra bucks on soda cups filled 80% with ice
McDonald's, Burger King, Wendy's, Taco Bell. I got a feeling you have no idea what you're talking about. There is a huge distinction between fast food and restaurants when you get a drink.

Exactly this. Never get a drink at a fast food place. It ups your bill by 2-3 dollars and it's mostly ice anyway
Think you're confusing fast food places with actual restaurants in terms of drinks full of ice. You can still get a cup at just about all the fast food places (some exceptions. Think Arby's doesn't let you get drinks on your own. Don't know about any other ones) and fill it with as much drink as you want. If I'm at a Burger King or Wendy's, I'm filling it full of drink and no ice.

Couple of things. First, Five Guys is the most expensive for sure when it goes to fast food chains, no denying that. But the difference is, their quality matches. The burgers themselves are far and away better than any comparable fast food place. You can't rip them on price without acknowledging that.
If you're eating alone and you don't go out often, sure. I'm aware of that. But I vote with my wallet and not go there because of their prices.
Secondly, and maybe I'm behind because I haven't been to one in a while, but they don't do combos. You get a burger or a burger with fries or a burger with fries and a drink. Even better. No other fast food place offers a burger and fry combo without throwing a drink at you. As someone who doesn't drink soda (aside from cocktail mixers), it's a huge perk. I don't like paying for things I don't want. Unfortunately, at every other fast food place, if I order a burger and fry completely separate, the price is usually just as much as getting the burger and fry combo meal (which comes with a drink). And getting a drink is nuts anyways IMO given the actual soda/syrup costs less than the cup it's put in. But that's a digression.
I don't think there's a combo either.
For comparison, I just went into the Five Guys website for the one near me in a medium-sized metro city. I was able to do a bacon cheeseburger and little fry (which we know is a lot more fry than any other fast food fry). Total came out to $17.39 including tax.
That total would be close to what I think it would be for me if it was just a bacon cheesburger and little fry. Maybe a little higher.
By comparison, the closest mcdonalds to that five guys and closest sandwich is presumably a double bacon quarter pounder with cheese. Add to that a large fry. Total comes out to $14.33 including tax. (in fairness, I actually just tried the double quarter pounder bacon with cheese MEAL (with soda) and it comes out even cheaper - $13.70 after tax).
Your metro city is way higher than what I have for McDonald's prices. Maybe 11 something from where I am.
So there's a $3-$4 difference for the most apples-to-apples order between 5G and mcdonalds.
It all depends on where you live and with it being close to summer, rip off prices for tourists.
I hardly think it's easy in your case to say "quality be damned" when A.) the price difference is $3-$4, B.) the quality IS leagues apart between the two chains, and C.) the quantity of the fries helps make up some of that dollar gap anyways.
What I mean by that is regardless of the quality, which has been excellent, Five Guys' prices keep me from wanting to eat there often. If I wanted to spend 20 dollars to eat, I'd rather sit down somewhere and get a meal from a diner or a pizzeria.
tldr I guess is, yes five guys is the most expensive of the fast food burger chains but their quality and quantity increases are more than enough to justify the upcharge.
Again, what I just said in the last line of quotes.

That manager is a dumbass. Their burgers are better than almost any other burger chain and people always exaggerate the price difference. Most of the toppings are free to add on and I've definitely eaten at burger chains with comparable pricing and five guys mops the floor with them. Hell a McDonald's meal is more than 10 bucks now and I can grt a five guys combo for like 12 or 13 bucks
Bullshit. Quality be damned, Five Guys is about as expensive as you can get for any restaurant chain. A combo there isn't 12 or 13 dollars. Try 17 or higher depending on what you want for a burger, fries, and drink.

Voted other. Applebee's. Horror stories around my particular one of undercooked food and people getting really sick from it.

There is no timeline where Mario 64 doesn't hold up
You need to realize Nintendo is not untouchable. The game is deserving of criticism. Mario 64's controls aren't that great and the later half of the game (as with most Mario games) gets lazy and dull. The 64 is not the most ideal system to go back to and the controller plays a factor. If you don't think it does, good for you.

Mario 64
The Simpsons Arcade
Donkey Kong Country
NFL Blitz

Honorable mentions to GTA 1 and 4 and Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time

Holy geez at Maximo's meltdown. Chrono Trigger don't interest me and it's not a cardinal sin if someone hasn't played it. There's better SNES games I'd put above it or any RPG for that matter.
