Is that excluding OoT, or does the 2009 bonus match not count?

If some people actually click on the question marks, for 2003 that adds Call of Duty, Pokemon RSE, Prince of Persia The Sands of Time, and Soul Calibur II to what's featured in the pictures. 2005 just gets Civilization IV.

Kingdom Hearts probably gets overrated at this point, actually. It's kind of flipped the script. What's the last really good win by a Kingdom Hearts character or game? It might be KH2 > KH1...!

KH2 > MGS4 in 2015 surprised some people (MGS4 had 21.83% guru support) and KH2 outperformed all but two Oracle predictions.

I'm thinking 1991's performance last round was near-useless for gauging its strength. Aside from any possible similar-era SFF or whatever between 1991 and 1988, 1988 featured a Zelda game most Zelda fans don't like, a Metal Gear game most Metal Gear fans don't like, a JRPG the vast majority of JRPG fans haven't played, and a WRPG the vast majority of WRPG fans haven't played.

A significant amount of those who used to play it but no longer do probably don't have positive feelings about the game either. And among non-players WoW is generally despised. Nobody's going to care about its massive influence if they don't like the game in the first place.

Only 30% of the site ever really got into it. The poll was run a decade ago though, it'd likely do significantly worse now.

Halo 2? Popularized online multiplayer on consoles. Except it did so on a console most of gamefaqs didn't own, PC games had been doing online FPS multiplayer for a decade by that point, it was in a genre gamefaqs isn't big on, and it got abandoned once Halo 3 came out regardless.

San Andreas was massively popular but it wasn't a game changer for the industry and so doesn't really belong on your list. GTA III was the innovator.

Half-Life II probably has okay strength on this site at this point. Only so much it can do as an FPS, though.

Source engine? Nobody cares.

And while the DS and Steam may have launched in 2004 but they were kind of awful back then.
