I actually fit in everywhere, in high school I had friends in every group, but because of that it kinda feels like I fit in nowhere because my personality isn't all the way in that group. I love video games and sports equally, I love Metal and Hip-Hop equally, i'm a white guy who grew up in the hood as a minority. I have a genius level IQ but would rather make inappropriate jokes and take nothing seriously. So it's like I fit in everywhere and nowhere at the same time. --- |

You can describe your immediate family one by one and extended family can simply be "Mom's side" and "Dad's side". Immediate family - Mom: Always been loving and emotionally nurturing, but is a notoriously horrendous bill payer and we had a lot of things shut off as a kid because of it. I'm assuming some of it was to spite my Dad because their relationship was never good because he is the opposite emotionally. On the surface our relationship is fine because she's funny and we like a lot of the same music and TV, but as an adult I can tell when she's lying about things so I simply do not trust her. Dad: The exact opposite of my mom. He is incredibly uptight and closed off emotionally, he's never said what I call "The big 4" which are "I'm sorry, thank you, I love you and i'm proud of you" and never will, BUT he has always been a phenomenal provider for our family and basically had to battle my mom to keep bills paid, and I know that if i'm ever in a bind financially or otherwise, my dad will be there for me. The only thing we have in common is sports, but we watch them and have a lot of fun watching them. Brother: We had an extremely bad relationship as kids and fought all the time. He's a few years older and dropped out of school and has been in and out of jail so basically he'd be the bully older brother and always come around and fuck with me for no reason, especially when my friends were around because I think he was jealous that I had real friends. We didn't speak for 5 years because we got into a grown man fight and I broke his nose, but since then he's started to realize the effect of all that he's done to me because I simply erased him from my life and he's basically tried to make it right since then. We're on speaking terms and exchange pleasantries at family gatherings, but that's it. Mom's side: Super duper Christians but don't force it on us at all. Incredibly nice, proper people but they do watch sports and drink like normal people. I don't see them often but when I do it's always so stuffy and phony that i'm exhausted by the end. Like I hold back swearing and any real "adult" conversation and it's 100% small talk, they're great people though. Dad's side: Loud mouthed Italians with some white trash mixed in. They're hilarious and real so it's SUCH a relief to spend time with them, but there is constant drama we have to hear about with their kids and drugs and baby mamas and shit. They lived in the same city as us so I essentially grew up with them, and nowadays I kinda keep my distance because they cause most of their own problems and I get tired of hearing about it. --- |
