Yeah, but it was very hard to get enough summon orbs during the fight to do it back then. It might be significantly easier now that we have a lot more units with multi-hit attacks - as long as they don't change the stipulation.

Keep in mind that getting Maxwell is not a freebee, it was a huge pain in the ass last time around and depending how she gets buffed this time, it might be just as much of a pain again.

I'm having a hard time getting behind anyone other than Sangmin winning this season. Not that I necessarily hate any of them, but none of the other 5 really feel like they would "deserve" to win based on what they've done this season. Yohwan and Junghyun have been failing all season, Hongchul is entertaining but doesn't really feel like he contributes strategically, Jiwon seems to just follow what whoever on his team is doing...Yooyoung would probably be the most palatable winner of the five, but even she hasn't really done a ton.

I only have the starter decks and no one to play with. but yeah, booster products are exceptionally rare. maybe opus 3 will be better, but I doubt it.

not super sad to see small sets go. I don't think there's ever been two-set draft format I've really liked. maybe FRF/KTK/KTK. all the best are triple one set or three different sets.

core sets coming back is good. less gatewatch is good. masterpieces becoming rarer is good (I wish they were going away completely tbqh).

Man, the last ~15 minutes of that episode were something else. BETRAYALTON.

Halfway through the season now and I'm still not really super invested in anyone other than Sangmin and Jinho, which is kind of a shame. I'm unable to tell if that's just because those two are there or the S2 cast in general isn't really that interesting.

Of the remaining players: (Sangmin > Jinho) > Hongchul > Yooyoung > Junghyun > Jiwon > Yohwan

I am not trdl but my hot take on this is they'll end up splitting the difference and alternating years between two 2-set blocks one year, and then a 3-set block + core set the next year.
