I believe it's related to the random "throw" GFX. Never did notice that the color is different on the proc.

I don't really like missables, so there really aren't any.

There's a few rages you can potentially miss if you don't unlock the formations, but the areas you can't go back to have their encounters hidden on the world map.

It's a common complaint, especially given that there are many more than most people notice.

Did you ever make a list? I'm curious (though I haven't played since you brought it up om the FCSB - v1.6 or so IIRC).

The Unlockme has a full list of every (intentional) reference along with developer's commentary and such.

Let me guess, you made the soldiers at the banquet super hard to kill so getting the maximum amount of points is a pain in the ass, right?

Not really intentionally, but they do shrug off a lot of attacks.

To save space, we consolidated the four of them into one.

Space constraints were a huge issue in pretty much every way.

Gum pod, actually. It's a Dragon Warrior IV reference (and a bowlderization of the item's actual name: dung)

It's the first boss fight of the game where you have total control over your party composition and many more choices than before, so that's where the gloves come off.

I suppose you could just put the "doesn't have anything" on every non human enemy.

Yeah, but that message doesn't sink in as quickly as "I stole from a bunny and it fucked my shit up".

One of the guys in the Beginner's School tells you that you should only steal from humanoid enemies. It made things easier for me since I had far fewer enemy steals to balance, and it's easier on the player since you now have a clear visual RE: which enemies to steal from instead of just trying to steal from everything.

I'm underweight by American medical standards and I live in a city where steak is a religion, so... yeah, that would perturb me.

Part of being an adult is realizing when you don't need unnecessary negativity/stupidity in your life. You just ignore the person and move on rather than advertising the fact.

I can ignore people without avoiding seeing their words. Its called "don't react to what others say if you don't want to".

Otherwise if you cant help but to react to somebodies messages ONLINE where its just text that you CHOOSE to read it means you are a child because children cannot yet filter what they see before reacting to it.

If you NEED horse blinders to be okay, it means you are not emotionally mature.

Intentionally exposing yourself to deliberate toxicity just to prove that it doesn't affect you is not a sign of emotional maturity - knowing when to avoid things that will add nothing of benefit to your life and not fearing that doing so makes you less of a man is.

Hello fellow adults.

Part of being an adult is realizing when you don't need unnecessary negativity/stupidity in your life. You just ignore the person and move on rather than advertising the fact. I make an exception in Duckbear's case because I feel that Duckbear represents something that is very, very wrong with society and is actively engaged in deliberately making the world a worse place.
