The game even defaults to voice activated voice chat instead of push to talk, so I would have had heard SOMETHING from at least one person I played with, even if its just someone clearing their throat or whatever. And in all the time I spent at the farm, the only thing people did was run around kicking the ball and using emotes. --- |

Voice chat is somewhat understandable, but you cant even use text chat to the people on your fucking team. You'd have to spam friend invites to strangers if you dont have a bunch of RL Destiny players that you know. After playing the beta I was considering buying the game on PC, until I realized I can't even say GG to my own fucking team mates. Is Bungie really so cheap that they'd make random chat non-existent so they wouldn't have to moderate their own fucking game? The worst part is, I tested out an area called "The Farm", which was described as the game's social hangout. But you can't fucking talk to anyone! All you can do is run around silently and use your emotes. How embarassing is that? Games that are decades old have had social chat rooms, so Destiny 2 has no excuse. Fanboys will buy that shit up along with all the DLCs like good little kids, too. --- |
