As a freelance graphic designer lucky enough to also have a decent 9-5 job, I totally get what Rowe means and I wish more art students recognized this reality instead of being swayed by collegiate propaganda into believing pursuing a degree in whatever = job + $$$ out of the gate. --- |

The only connection both franchises had with each other prior to Predator 2 was that they were made by 20th Century Fox and Bill Paxton was essentially playing the same charismatically goofy character in both sequels. Other than that, you could also loosely connect the dots I suppose starting with Alien by Ridley Scott which lead to Aliens by writer/director James Cameron who also created The Terminator starring Arnold who would later star in the first Predator movie by John McTiernan... But mostly Bill Paxton. --- |
