Woah woah woah, Splatoon 2 IS pretty great. I feel like its biggest flaws come from the single player being disappointing yet again though.

Honest talk here, as a guy who still has a Wii U and the original Splatoon, I was never that crazy about the game. It was kinda neat for a little while, something different, but it got kinda old kinda quickly and the single player was just a very long tutorial. IMO you had to be really into the concept to stick with it and I just didn't enjoy it that much once I got over the new factor of it all.

I feel like Splatoon 2 needed to do something amazing or fresh or new to get me to buy it, but from what I have seen it just looks like the same old Splatoon but with a few upgrades. For a game that was sold on being a fresh and new concept, Splatoon 2 comes off as being kind of tired, playing it a bit too safe, but that is just my impression.

I don't really disagree with you. 2 feels first and foremost like a refinement of the first game. I liked the original quite a bit already but I do think Nintendo could have pushed the sequel a lot further than they did. As it stands I still think it's a great game

I was a huge NIN fan in the 90s and 00s, but everything after Fragile has just been...lacking. the post Fragile albums all seem like he's just going through the motions imitating Nine Inch Nails instead of actually being Nine Inch Nails.

I remember you saying this before, and while I think he'll rehash himself at times (The Slip), he's pretty consistent at reinventing himself with each release. If you're in the mood for some old school NIN sound, his last EP, "Not the Actual Events" will likely be right up your alley, outside of maybe Dear World.

Craigslist for both buying a Wii U and selling your Wii. I got a Wii U a few months after launch along with a boatload of Wii/Wii U games along with a Pro controller for like $300. Also, you could probably get $30 in cash for your Wii instead of the store credit this way. I just checked my local craigslist and found a deal like this right away. $250 for at least $500 worth of Wii U stuff.

Animators are already stressed out enough and you want them to literally animate every mouth movement 100% accurately to the dialogue

To be honest, halfway decent lip syncing isn't THAT hard to do. It's the heavy action scenes that are going to take up a vast majority of an animator's time. And I say this as an animator.

Also, Castlevania's animation isn't that spectacular. There's plenty of moments where it feels pretty stiff.
