There are books that cross YOUR line in terms of offensive content, sure- avoid them. But at least make sure of the context of the quote and the material... when you start judging books just by their cover and with quotes out of context...a lot of false positives will pop up, and that's a bad thing. And don't just shout down dissenting opinions.

I share your pain with my total amassed ~ 15 hours of suffering on the subject. (8h for the victorious attempt.)

The problem with it is that, with the power level I'm at, the fight relies on a touch of RNG(mainly, please only hit WoL so that no one dies)
Fight started off a bit annoying cause Warrior's Pride didn't kick in a lot.

Then we get to the last bits of health and it seems robot is making his last stand- killing my units outright( even with "Light is with us" up!) and just generally keeping me from DPSing( and thus healing himself from near death) and forcing me to waste a lot of resources( and I can't use magic since that's the last challenge I need to do!) The damn main body just won't die! I had to stop just before World Destroyer kicks off, with him somehow killing Zero's Fry (by ignoring Light is With Us,no less!)but I can recover...hopefully. I do hope to finally put this trial to rest.

So, robo is down, but not completed( cause I had to cast Imperil at one point for some reason >.<). Making the Right Arm heal early was great. and man, having the last part be just the left arm killing Maxwell over and over again was a nice relaxing end.

I will get World Destroyer eventually...maybe once I get a few L&A first.

Or maybe try this weekend(Zero, I assume you kept demon killer on cause Ultima? Your Fryevja still did the job, of which I am very thankful for. would you mind if you could swap back to Rod Mastery if you are fine with it?)

Eh, the 11 turn count was easy once I learned I actually had to break her.

Just slowly poked at her, broke with WoL, mitigate with Rikku, status heal with Rikku and Tillith, wail on her lackeies with Double fry, then finish with D. fina.

As much of a push over as she was in FFT.

So I've got 50 tickets and the 10+1 from last month. I know I want to spend at least some on the Veritas banner, but while I've not played Nier, I keep reading about how it's going to be the banner to pull on. Is there anything besides Veritas, Nier, and Onion Knight people have been looking forward to? I see no reason to try and pull OK since I have Tidus, or quite frankly DV for the same reason, but I'm just not at all interested in Nier since I've never played it.

Veritas Banner- DV is an orlandeau chainer, which can help wirh 10-man( since no clones allowed). Also has a surprisingly solid support set.
FV is one of the top-physical finishers in JP(though we need True Doublehand from Cloud or another unit, to pull his famous Fixed Dice set).
EV is pretty much if WoL and Wilhelm were merged- not necessarily the best AoE tank(WoL) or provoke tank(Wilhelm), but does a mighty job at doing both roles.
Victoria is an amazing mage- amazing mag stat, great set of spells and abilites(even a stop ability for arena!)
Tim...is one of the best 5* supports period- his breaks alone( which are single stat but will be the highest in GL at 50%) make him worth it.

Nier banner-besides the units themselves, this is is a limited time banner, as with all collabs.
2B is a solid attacker, but really shines as a Master of Machines- her killers will help her eat any machine enemy alive.
9S, of course, is in a support role, and is good at it, but is most known for his AMAZING TM-kinda like Rikku's pouch, if it could make anyone into a competent chainer.
We're also getting a few Global Exclusive units as well( like A2).

I might have missed some things, but that's the jist of both banners.

I tried. it doesn't. I think I finally got down a good strategy after hearing about the "kill both right arm and main body strat" and remembering the fact that WoL has 100% provoke to take heat off of Maxwell if need be.

Just gotta remember to keep Rikku's LB for World Destroyer, lol

Tried Robot trial again with Zero Fry-
1)would have been nice to know that buffs and Debuffs layer- possibly have 2 Reraise so World Destroyer didn't double kill Maxwell?
2)Killing Main body was... ok(had to chain both Fry's WITH rikku and spr break to do any decent damage, though) Then the Left arm went haywire and I ran out of ways to revive my healers( curse you heal triggers!)
3) forgot Bushido Freedom, so dispelling was not nearly as efficient :P

I'd love to have Ling in the team, but there's no room, sadly.
But, this at least means the trial can be done the quicker way for me; just gotta plan better.

Dark Vertias fight was dirty- dispel/buff, then whack with Dark damage, seems legit.
At least Citra finally gets some love from Raegen, despite all her bullshit.

But of course, the story is never over- guess we're killing Hess's lackeys, now.

Yes. In that case, it would continue the chain. ( cause it splits the attack into 50% each element)

And does the Lightning Element Add status make an attack pure lightning even if the weapon is a different element or not

No- if there are other elements involved, the attack is split with them as well.

man, Veritas of the Flame almost got me crying manly tears. Helped that the actual fight was pretty fun, almost killing my ass before setting up with Rikku.

I think I'm gonna run thsee Veritas fights again with story units after i'm done this pharm part.feels right.
