Not liking the elitism zombie fans seem to take now

It used to be fun doing easter eggs and learning maps with vets willing to help. Now that i am much better, i realize there are so many assholes that really don't give newbies a chance and the more complicated maps don't really help them

Honestly this would be great for somebody who has a solid zombie team to play with.

Not gonna lie tho I definitely had my fair share of randos who really just sucked (not being team players at all) and carrying a team just means someone would quit after getting downed so many times due to embarrassment or pure frustration

The zombie modes are just so unforgiving that it does indeed get frustrating quickly.

Sometimes I wish they had a "casual" zombies mode so you didn't die after 2 hits. I realize that the stress of staying alive is part of the fun, but when you're playing with casual newbies that you've never met, that's a little TOO stressful (to the point that it sucks the fun out of it).

This has to be the absolute WORST reasoning I've ever seen to believe / not believe in the Jewish (OT biblical) God. Even in the actual Biblical accounts, the Israelites repeatedly fell under some of the most horrible life circumstances imaginable (e.g. Assyrian and Babylonian captivity which puts both the Egyptian captivity, and even the holocaust to task).

It's not just the Jews / Old Testament where I see this argument applied. People have this "Nanny God" concept that if God is good and sovereign, then nothing bad should ever happen to us, which is completely out-of-touch with both historical records and Biblical accounts. This world is jacked up, and even the most devout, steadfast followers of the religion recorded through history (the "prophets / apostles / etc.") endured immense persecution, imprisonments, brutal beatings, and even martyrdom.

TL'DR Version - If you base the validity of a religion strictly on the good or bad circumstances of life, then you're doing it wrong.

I just did a little Googling (after seeing Action's Rampage cabinet pic above), and learned that "Bally" or "Bally/Midway" was a leading manufacturer of arcade cabinets back in the day.

I always though of Midway strictly as a developer, but apparently it was "Midway Manufacturing" at the start. I'm still very saddened that the company went under.

How hard would it be to mod that cabinet to serve as a 4-player (single-game) machine, with dual-monitor outputs (e.g. where in the TMNT game, Leo and Raph were on the left, and Mike and Donny were on the right)???

You'd have to split the video feed so both screens showed the same thing, but It would make it much more comfy for 4 players, since you'd have more elbow room.

Well, at the beginning she was very bratty and naive, making her extremely unlikeable. Of course, at the end of Season 1, she got a major wake-up call, which persisted pretty much through the entire series so far. It's almost like the writers put her in the story for no other reason than to portray the victim, which got really old fast. But, her actions towards the end of Season 6 almost make up for it.

They don't ask our opinions. They tell us theirs whether we want to hear it or not (particularly in the mornings, and especially when they're running late and there is high humidity in the air; it makes hair straightening a pain in the ass for them!).

Of course, there are always exceptions, and some women simply don't give a shit about how their hair looks.

It was huge when it came out, but he's got a point. The hype for Avatar dropped off a cliff.

To be fair, when they made the original deal with 20th Century Fox back in 2011, there was still major hype for Avatar, and the sequels had already been announced (delays notwithstanding).

Seeing that they're going to be making many sequels, this is the PERFECT time to build up park attractions (since there would be mutual benefit from the old deal; More hype from Disney means more money for the future film creators, and more viewership for the future films means more demand for the Disney attractions / merchandise from the deal).

Well, that's the general rationale behind ANY impeachment (including Bill Clinton's back in the day, though he wasn't removed from office). But, we're not at that point yet. Heck..., the recently fired Flynn (who would be the backbone of this investigation) hasn't even had a Senate hearing about it yet (and may not at all). So wishing impeachment on Trump at this point is merely stemming from ill-will, not actual evidence of possible treason.

Of course, if this Senate hearing ever goes through, these things may change, and your statement will have much more weight to the situation.

Some of them (toward the end of the list) are from the same era as the Coleco ones -- so it might have been a regional thing, perhaps.

The old "Tiger" games were these handheld games that used pre-placed sprites similar to how numbers are displayed on old calculator screens.

As such, they required very little battery power to operate, and were very lightweight. However, since the sprites were all pre-rendered, the games were very simplistic (and, of course, you were bound to one game per device). I know there have been many arcade collection releases on consoles (Namco Museum, Sega Classics, etc.), but have there been any arcade HD REMAKES lately?

I'd love to see some of the classic games re-released on modern consoles in full HD (like they've done with Strider / Outrun / etc.). It doesn't have to be a direct reskin. They can make it a spiritual successor (like with Double Dragon Neon), and I'd be happy with that as well.

My Elektra has a tag inside that says 1981, it's early in the production run and it came out in 1981 so it's probably right. Most serial tags don't have the date, just the serial number and model number. Sometimes there's a date on the inside.

Do most cabinets have an original build date labelled anywhere (assuming it's not rubbed / worn off)??? It'd be interesting to know the year built for some of these old cabinets. Granted, most games show a copyright date when booting, but that may greatly differ from when the cabinet itself was built.

Got a Galaga, Outrun upright and an Elektra pinball for $400

I just posted about Outrun a few days ago. I remember them doing a remake back on the original Xbox, and it was actually pretty good. The original arcade handling was freakin difficult. I'd like to see a modern outrun game with current gen graphics (and a little tighter controls).
