Qui-Gon could have probably prevented his fall but that's just speculation. The Jedi Order would still have been very indifferent to him with or without Qui-Gon's presence.

I felt the story was kinda just ok, it wasn't like great as everyone was saying. They had some cool characters, but yeah it was pretty much a one-off story.

I did think it was amazing how they were able reconstruct Peter Cushing and a younger Carrie Fisher via CGI. It was impressive.

I was impressed but simultaneously hit with uncanny valley because of it. They felt poorly mo-capped.

I'm not saying they did anything, it's just a fact of their position. They are at the behest of the Galactic Senate. They aren't protectors of freedom or justice, they just have to act in accordance to the whim of the Senate. It's up to the Senate to use them to maintain civility, democracy, and order in the Republic.

I've always perceived it as "you tell one person to piss off, word will spread" logic.

Bending over backwards for everyone makes everyone feel appreciated by the store. If you send someone off fuming then they'll tell everyone what they experienced and you might start an epidemic of bad public perception.

Not saying that's guaranteed to happen (in fact I think it's kind of unlikely) but businesses never want to take that risk, no matter how small.

It's really more bitchy customers who have a chip on their shoulder that's the problem and businesses not being able to handle those people as they should be. If they're going to rag on your business for not accommodating them, they were going to do it anyway, going out of your way to please them probably wouldn't change much.

Wow, Americans are badly whipped when it comes to tipping.

I hate tipping but it's the knowledge that they shirk that responsibility to the customer by low-balling the pay for the servers so you have little recourse. You basically can't protest because you're not protesting the restaurant by not tipping, just cheating the server out of money.

If the guilt-tripping makes you so furious, they probably have a point on some level. Rather than admit that you're being unethical (to some extent), you're just spouting baseless assertions like some sort of hive-mind. If you really cared about the problematic aspects of ads you have multiple ways of 'protesting' them and hurting their profitability while still helping content creators. You just prefer to pretend you have some sort of moral high ground and shout prefigured maxims at anyone who disagrees.

You don't think everything I said isn't a legitimate problem I haven't actually experienced? An ad should never completely obscure the site content and shove its message down your throat.

They're the only pizza place I know of that uses red onions so I like them for that.

Also their pan pizza is puffy, which is also nice (people who like thin, floppy pizzas perplex me; biting into a soft crust pizza is much more satisfying).
