It tasted like vitamin enriched shortbread made from school chalk instead of flour, and then had been left out in the desert for 3 weeks. It's survival food, not something to be enjoyed in the slightest. If you're on the same page with your boss from a communication standpoint, or if you're both part of the same generation, you could probably get away with texting or emailing [for many people both = notification on their phone]. But especially if you're part of the under-30 crowd and your boss is a boomer or older, PHONE CALL is the way to go. Some restaurants don't think customers notice, so they thin the mix. That's truly gross. Honey mustard is okay thinner, so it can pour or spread easily.
