I think it depends on how you portray that individual's "Faith" to see what it truly is

The Prince's "Faith" wasn't what I considered true faith. That was as you put "Insanity". Merely a man who thought he could do whatever he pleased because his girlfriend said she was tight with the Gods and because he was all romantic about the whole ordeal rather than taking it seriously (may be contradicting other cases but yeah)

There are obviously hopeless looking situations and "having faith in yourself" etc which I understand, but this wasn't really one of those "do or die" moments nor beyond his control. He just chose to do an incredibly stupid thing with zero thought and essentially sent his people to die for no reason

Then you have Alura who just dropped everything when she didn't get her way. Shit is gonna happen sometimes and you aren't going to get bailed out, but at that point she just gave up not only on her faith in the gods but in herself as well (at least how I viewed it).

Again its not like it should have been too surprising. It was a stupid situation in the first place so from the POV of the gods in that instance they may not bail you out for it (then again I understand that in a freakin warzone when everything is falling apart people may go apeshit and not think rationally...but she seemed to be going into it thinking that the gods "owed her" I think and boy was she wrong) .

To me Alura came off as an entitled brat during that whole bit (then again the whole situation in itself was based on supreme idiocy on the prince's part as well as hers)

She is preaching on about her agency and stuff and basically going "HEY GODS I AM THE MIRACLE WORKER HERE YOU WILL SAVE US RIGHT NOW! YOU WILL OBEY ME"

Then when a cranky Cthulu esque one happens to answer her and tell her to fuck off she just goes "NO SHUT UP IF YOU WONT OBEY ME THEN I DENY YOU FUCK YOU"

Like who the fuck are you? For one it is because of your stupid fiance that you refused to talk to that got you all here when you could have easily just did a 180 and leave. Don't go bitching at the gods when things go wrong when the whole situation was fucking moronic in the first place

I mean I could see another type of character act similar to that from another background for different reasons, but she is supposed to be the "priest" of the group who was all about that stuff so her acting like a bitch was like...yeah fuck you.

“I am Daenerys. Who might you be?”

The girl stood up

“H-Hitomi. Pleasure to meet you”

The weird lady nodded

“Well then Miss Hitomi. What say we travel together for a time? Better chances together rather than not yes?

Hitomi, finding the logic sound, decides to travel with Daenerys for a ways! As they walk down various passages they come upon a golden door. Perhaps this was the way up?

As Hitomi reached for the handle, Daenerys grabbed her hand

“Hold a moment…”

Daenerys inspected it first and carefully opened the door. It appeared to be vacant inside…aside from a sword lodged into the ground and a door on the other end of the room!

“Stay with me and be on your guard…I don’t trust this…”

Hitomi and Daenerys cautiously walked into the room! Not wanting to mess with the sword for fear of a trap they headed to the door.

Hitomi decided inspect it this time and reached for the handle…and as she touched it

BZZZZzZzZ

“AUUuUUGhgrhgrhhg”

Hitomi is launched back with a tremendous shock and lies sprawled out on the floor stunned!

“Oh no…”

The door they came in from shuts and she hears a clicking sound…She tries to rush over and open it but no luck!

Daenerys looked back to find Hitomi slowly trying to shakily pick herself up…only to notice hidden passages to begin to slide open to reveal some small gremlin like creatures! They start making their way to the helpless prey!

“STAY BACK!”

Daenerys rushes to the assistance of Hitomi and swings her own blade, striking one of the gremlins and sending it flying!

As Daenerys fends off and kills all the gremlins she hears a snarling sound

“Wha”

WHAM

Daenerys in struck in the side with a powerful blow that sends her sliding across the floor! She weakly gets to her feet and finds a large wolf like creature already upon her

. . .

Hitomi saw the whole spectacle as the monster continued to batter the helpless maiden of battle. It was only a matter of time now, she was going to be torn apart! It was her she saw…and once she was dead that thing would come and finish her off as well!

No…no she had to do something!

Hitomi latched on the blade and pulled with all her strength…but would she be able to get it out in time to save her…if at all!?

Daenerys tried to swing her sword at the beast only for it to strike it to the side by the blade’s flat areas! With its other hand it grabbed Daenerys by the throat and slammed her into the wall twice! She went limp and her blade fell to the floor!

The beast gave a gruff chuckle and raised its free hand ready to swing at her face. Each blade like nail would tear her pretty skin apart and decorate the room with her guts!

The beast swung his claw and Daenery’s eyes widened

There was a light…

. . .

HYEEAAAGHHHH!!!!!”

Hitomi jammed the magical sword through the beasts back! The beast let out a pained howl and stumbled. That attack would prove to be enough as veins of magical energy ran across the monster’s body! It shook its head erratically before erupting with magic and blood! The glow of the sword went dim…

. . .but was she too late?

Megan Parker finds a room that is surprisingly…rather large. It appeared to hold a vast collection of books lined up in multiple aisles. She notices some weird girl with a dark hood heading toward her and the exit! Megan noticed she was carrying some book so maybe she had an idea of what else was here

“Say lady what’s th-“

Sophia shoved the kid aside

“Out of my way kid”

Sophia leaves the room! Megan picks herself up and looks back in her direction

“Jerk…”

Megan shrugs and decides to investigate the room anyway. If that lady was fine it was probably safe….probably.

She walked down the rows of books. They appeared to hold various tomes, but most were on subjects she had no interest in.

(patter patter)

Megan turns around at the noise but doesn’t find anyone there…hmm…weird.

Eventually Megan comes upon a weird looking book decorated in various symbols. Hmm wonder what this was.

Unbeknownst to her…a little boy was approaching her with knife in hand…

“Hmm…”

The boy raised his knife, ready to drive it into her neck!

As Megan opens the tome, a stream of dark letter fly out of the pages and into her eyes! Megan is lifted off the ground by a magical force and eventually sends out a shockwave of some sort of magic! Caught off guard by this, the boy is sent flying into the walls of books which would then be knocked over!

“Oohh…what the heck…”

Megan looked around to find the destruction around her

“Did…I do that?”

Megan looked over the book and found it surprising that for some reason…she could understand the weird language in it.

“I have a feeling I can have some major fun with you…”

Megan, content with her new prize, leave the room.

The Angriest Boy in the World pops his head out from a pile of books and shakes his fists in rage!

Hitomi Kanzaki was playing around with her tarot cards while sitting in a hallway, hoping for some guidance.

Out of nowhere she has a vision of a young maiden attacked by some sort of large beast! The claws raise and swipe at her tender flesh, ready to rend her asunder…and a bright light engulfs them!

“Hello are you okay?”

Hitomi snapped back to attention and found a woman with long hair standing before her

“Oh um…”

The woman smiled

“It had seemed you had just zoned out so I thought I would check if you were okay. It’s dangerous to just be spacing out all alone in a place like this no?”

Hitomi rubbed her neck embarrassed

“heheheh…yeah…”

The woman smiled

Fi headed down another passage, leaving the insane woman alone.

Reaver dusts himself off and heads out in search of loot…or people to potentially kill and take loot from. Whichever came first honestly.

Dr. Oz, Prince Brandish, Donald Trump. and Tidus all end up together in a large room. Hmm…quite a group. They decide to stick together for a bit as they headed out into the unknown…although given their personalities it probably wouldn’t be long before they split up!

As Negan explored he stumbles upon a room with a suit of armor with a large mace standing in front of what looked like a glowing white pool. Some weird message was scrawled in large glowing symbols above the suit of armor, but Negan couldn’t make heads or tails of it. He still decided to investigate however! He approaches the pool

“Now what do we got h-“

Negan hears the creaking of metal and looks up just in time to dodge a mace from striking him in the head

“What the flying fuck!?”

The armor began to move and then dug its sword into the pool! After a few seconds it removed it with an accompanying wail! The sword now glowed brilliantly

“Well…shit”

The being in the armor roared and swung the blade! Negan managed to dodge again as the mace smashed the ground near him! The “knight” immediately jumped back!

Negan then noticed that the place the weapon struck left a small ball of light

“What the h-“

BOOOM!!

After a few seconds that little light ball erupted with concussive force knocking Negan back into a wall! Blood rushed out of his mouth

“Oh…Oh yeah? You think you’re hot shit huh?”

The Knight let out a ghastly moan! Negan took out Lucille

“I’ll show you a real fucking weapon mother fucker!”

Negan let out a roar and charged forth with his bat and the Knight slowly ran up to him ready to bash his head off! The Knight wound up for a home run and swung the mace…only for Negan to duck under it and to the Knight’s flank!

As the Knight turned, he is met with the vengeful strike of Lucille smacking him in the face! The helmet lazily fell revealing an undead like creature trying to recover

“Ohoho one of you fuckers huh? Yeah I’ve dealt with your kind before!”

Before the Knight could go for another attack, Negan bashed in his leg causing the Undead Knight to collapse from the weight

“Needless to say you fucked with the wrong guy!”

Negan brought Lucille down upon the Knight’s skull, bashing in its face

“UuuUuuurgh”

Negan brought a hand to his ear

“What’s that! I can’t fucking hear you!”

Negan smashed its head again

“u uu rg. . .”

“Sorry you’ll have to speak up!”

CRUNCH!

With one file slam the Knight’s skull broke open! He wasn’t moving now

“Haa…haa…that’s what I thought! Ha…”

Negan turned to the pool now that its Guardian was now slain. He then glanced at his bat

“Hmm…”

Negan walked up to the pool and bathed his precious Lucille into its waters! After a few moments he brought it out! Now his bat shined brilliantly with a white glow!

“Ohooo…”

Negan tensed his arms and swung at the glowing symbols on the wall. As expected after a few moments that spot exploded, completely destroying whatever message was there

Jar Jar Binks is impaled and smashed into a wall! Jar Jar flailed around screaming wildly for a few moments before eventually going limp. A stream of blood fell to the floor!

It seemed he triggered some sort of tile trap…

Perhaps he should have watched where he was going…

Porky stood there stunned for a few moments before simply shrugging

“Well..he at least sprung a trap for me. Stupid freak!”

Porky Minch waltzed forward, passing the mutilated Jar Jar without the slightest care!

Kris Allen awakens into a room splattered with blood! A message is written on the door ahead reading
“Death Comes For You”

Kris kicks the door down and begins exploring!

Algus awakens to some teenage passed out on top of him

“UGH! GET OFF ME YOU FOOL”

Algus jumps to his feet, knocking Vaan to the ground

“Urrgh..ugh…where..”

Algus seemed to talk to himself, not really paying attention to the young man with him

“Hmm…it would seem this is something akin to a dungeon. Such a bother…if only I struck down those fools earlier I…mmm no no that probably would not have gone so well…Although I am confidant I can get the better of that fool now that I know his tricks.”

Vaan rubbed his noggin

“Urgh what are you sayin”

Algus completely ignores Vaan and opens the door in front of them. He begins to head down one of the passages

“Hey! Hey wait a sec”

Algus promptly turned to Vaan with a stone cold stare

“I have no time to babysit a peasant such as you. Follow me if you must but don’t get in my way.”

Vaan folded his arms annoyed

“Peasant? Who the hell do you think you a-“

Algus had already begun to leave. Sighing to himself, Vaan decided to trail him for now.

While exploring, Heather Mason hears what sounds like a young girl screaming!

Heather runs to the source of the noise and flings open the door to just catch what looks like a coffin propped up against the wall slam shut!

“Heeellp!!! Someone get me outta here! HELP!!!”

Someone banged against the inside of the coffin desparately! Heather Mason approaches to help and grabs on

Heather pulls hard but it appears difficult to get open! After a few more attempts she starts to feel it give
“Hold on! I’ll get you out! HURGGH”

With one more strong pull the coffin comes open

“Phew! There. Are you o-“

Before Heather saw the damsel in distress, a claw had lodged itself into her stomach

A scantily clad pale maid stood before her from within the coffin

“Oh my hero…”

Blood started to drip from Heather’s mouth which the woman eagerly licked up. She brought Heather in to a deadly kiss

“How…sweet…”

With a quick motion the woman pulled from the kiss and then dug her teeth into Heather’s neck! She pulled the poor girl’s body into the coffin and shut it tight once more

“Hmm…perhaps it would be beneficial to speak to her. Hello miss. How are y-“

The woman flung a stray cat at Fi which she effortlessly dodged…she stood there staring at the nonsensical woman.

“BEHOLD THE GLORY OF A NEW SUN!!!”

A large creature further illuminated the room! Judy shielded her eyes!

The mimic chuckled and activated some sort of spell empowering one of his minions

“IIIIILUMINATE!”

A card materialized into thin air and the mimic grabbed it…

“Wow…”

The mimic raised his hand and the card disappeared into purple flame! A violet light blasted forth past Anduin’s defense and struck him in the face, causing blood to leak from his orifices

“Urggh…wha…”

Another card materialized…

“Wow…”

The mimic does the same thing again! Causing further damage to Anduin.

Oh no…was he…”

“Wow…”

Anduin screamed out to his minions

“QUICKLY KILL HIM! FIGHT WITH ALL YOUR MIGHT!”

The minions charged into the mimic’s defensive line but were finding it difficult to breakthrough…



A volley of purple missiles struck Anduin over and over! The young prince shrieked in agony until his head exploded! His headless body sprays a fountain of blood as it collapses to the ground!



The mimic dances around before poofing away in a cloud of smoke! The chest closes once more!

A terrified Judy braces herself against the wall panting in terror…she had to calm down…and definitely get the hell away from this room! She runs off!

Porky Minch whimpers as he picks himself up…only to find A SKELETON UP RIGHT IN HIS FACE!

“EEEEEEEEEEEEEEP!”

Porky tumbles back onto his fat ass only to feel something brush up against his back as well!

MORE SKELETONS

Porky jumps up and sprints away as fast as he can to a nearby wall…only to find that he wasn’t in the process of being horribly killed

“Hey…what gives!?”

Upon closer inspection, Porky finds that theses skeletons were NOT the murdery kind, but rather just plain old skeletons!

“Hoo…ahahah! Stupid things!”

Porky casually kicked one of the skulls into another wall, breaking it upon impact!

“HelloOoOOOo mesa heard someone! Anyone theeeere!?”

Porky cautiously peaked his head out of the room he fell into to find a strange looking alien nearby

“OoOOoO! Was it you! This place isa too scary yes!?

Porky was growing increasingly agitated hearing this alien’s babbling

“….What the heck are you, some sort of mutant?”

The alien clapped his hands

“Oooo! Meeesa Jar Jar Binks! Meesa lookin for the way out and heard youusa screamin! Say would youusa like to be meeesa’s friend!? We could help each other yes!?

Porky Minch considered the alien’s offer…if nothing else he could make a decent meat shield
“….Fine! N-not like I need your help or anything!”

Jar Jar clapped his hands again!

“HOOORAY! MEESA MADE A NEW FRIEND! COME ON! I THINK THE WAY OUT IS THIS WAY!”

Jar Jar rushed off ahead down one of the passages! As Porky Minch started to follow he heard a clicking sound

“Hmm? Hey what the heck was tha-“

Jar Jar turned his head back to Porky while still running

“Youusa say someth-“

CRREEAAKK

Porky saw it coming but it was too late to warn the alien! A log embedded with numerous spikes descended from further in that passage and swung right into the annoying xeno!

Weevil held up one of his rare bug monster cards as an offering but The Antagonist merely aimed at the crowd of small children

“I don’t need your money. I just need you all to die! You filthy insects feasting on society’s carcass!”
Weevil shrieked

“N-NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!”

A gunshot was heard and the world seemed to slow down…

Weevil thought for sure that they were all going to be gunned down…he thought he was dead…
…wait…but he wasn’t dead…what-

“GRAGGGRHGRG!!!”

The Antagonist did indeed fire his weapon, only something unexpected occurred! It seemed in this world things didn’t operate normally….the card that Weevil had offered appeared to “activate”…summoning forth a large monstrous bug to attack his assailant! At the last possible moment a large appendage swiped the gun to the side, causing the blast to take out a chunk of a nearby wall!

The Antagonist wrestled with the beast! Maybe the beast would win out, but not wanting to chance it….Weevil turned back to the crowd

“RUN YOU IDIOTS! RUUUUUUNNN!!!!”

Weevil immediately broke off into a sprint, the Kids all started shrieking and ran after him in a disorganized manner!

Fortunately for them the battle with the monster bug lasts awhile…but not surprisingly

“SKREEEEE”

The insect monster falls to the ground with its organs spilling out of its husk

“Hmph! You will be the first to fall to my Black Crusade of bloody destruction. They will ALL die…”

The Antagonist brought a boot down on the bugs enlarged head, crushing it completely! The Antagonist then walks down a random hallway, ready kill anyone he came across…

Chi-Chi finds herself in a small room with a single door ahead! Before she heads out to find her way forward she notices a loose stone in the wall! Upon messing with it she is shifted into a hidden room with a healing potion! Nice!

Fortunately for Snuggle, he ends up with Katara! Together they venture forth!

Yhwatch, completely unperturbed by his current situation, begins his search for the way up!

Vibe decides to look around for some potential loot!

Anduin Wrynn explores the area and finds a room with an ornate chest…He decides to open it to find…A MIMIC!

A surge of shadow blasts out of the chest knocking the young prince back. After recovering he finds a shadowy doppelganger standing before him! Well surely he could take care of him!

Anduin prepared to blast the impostor with holy light! As he does so-

“OUUUT OF MY JUNGLE!”

A reptilian creature appears out of nowhere and blocks the attack, protecting its master. Wait a second…was he..

Anduin sees the mimic holding cards in his hand while smirking back at him!

Oh…so that’s how it was going to be!?

Anduin took out his own deck. He cast Holy Fire to destroy the monster!

It was on now!

After some time, Judy Hopps would find herself nearby and hear some sort of commotion coming from one of the rooms! Holding her weapon at the ready she approached and carefully peaked her head around the corner to find some sort of shadowy figure bleeding some sort of purple substance on to the ground and a young man heavily bleeding as well!

“Hmph…you’re good, but I won’t go down like this!”

Anduin heals himself, mending some of his wounds

…Both of them had a few monsters on the field duking it out with each other! It could go either way
The mimic smirked at the prince and played a card…

CHAPTER 2: Bloody Landing

“GRryygrhg hmph..huh?”

Weevil Underwood groaned as he picked himself up accompanied by the cries of some people near him
One child sobbed

“Sniff I-I wanna go hoOooome ahoohoooo”

While The Kids around him tried to comfort each other, Weevil simply sighed and adjusted his glasses

“Would you all be quiet!”

All the kids turned to him and shut up quickly. Despite being a weird looking nerd, Weevil seemed to have some guts. They decided to listen to him which seemed to please Weevil’s large ego!

“Hmph! That’s better, now then…where are we"

Weevil inspected the area. They seemed to be in what looked like some creepy dilapidated dungeon of some kind. A long hallway stretched onward with many different potential paths to take! Although he ended up with some other Kids, there seemed to be no one else around. Weevil hypothesized that all the other tributes but have fell into other areas of this floor somewhere…

As Weevil was pondering what to do next, a loud screeching sound filled his ears

“HEEEELlooOOoOoo! Can yall hear me down there? That was quite a doozy of a fall huh!?”

The Kids shuddered in fear but Weevil merely glared at where he thought the sound was coming from

“Grrrgrgh bastard…”

“So for those of ya still kickin, I will just like to reiterate what ya gotta do. This place is preeeeety damn big with many rooms that can lead to all manner of things. Treasures to help ya survive, horrible traps ready to turn ya into a bloodstain, or even…well…I wouldn’t want to spoil some of the other surprises! Anyway, ya just gotta navigate the place and work your way up! If ya hit a roadblock, ya just gotta wait till the kill checkpoint is reached before ya could move on! There are many paths that lead up the tower so hey, feel free to explore! Well…that’s all I wanted to say now so, good luck all! Try not to get killed!”

Weevil grunted and addressed the Kids that had somehow ended up with him

“Come on! Lets find a way out of here. Maybe you will be of SOME use”

While some of the kids were annoyed at Weevil’s attitude they decided to follow him for a bit…and why shouldn’t they Weevil thought! He was fucking great! He could have totally taken that guy upstairs no problem…well…okay maybe not, but he bet he could have whooped him at Duel Monsters! Of that Weevil was fairly certain!

They travelled down some narrow hallways, ignoring some of the nearby bloodstained doors and deciding to find a more direct way up the floor! As they rounded a corner however…Weevil bumped into someone and fell on his ass!

“Oooph! Hey! What’s the big id-“

Weevil immediately went silent as he stared up at a giant pale man clad in black…he didn’t seem to say anything and merely glared down at the little bug

The other kids behind him looked at him with worry

“W-w-well!? W-what are you lookin at huh!?”

The man grunted

“A bunch of insects…”

He whipped out a shotgun!

“That need to be squashed…”

Weevil’s heart nearly stopped as all the kids let out various screams! This guy was fucking insane! What cruel fate that someone like The Antagonist would be the one to land near Weevil’s group

“N-n-now it easy I-..p-please don’t. H-HERE TAKE MY CARDS! THEY’RE WORTH MONEY! Y-YOU WANT MONEY!? O-OR MAYBE WE COULD WORK TOGETHER!

I'll probably go back to bolding someone being taken down (unless I decide not to lol). For this game I decided to switch things up with the opening where it jumped straight to a murderfest with no bolding (for people who just look for that so they wouldn't know it went straight to people being eliminated rather than the usual calm start)

(since I usually put the whole cast and the reaping pic at the start I left that and just decided to put an X by the people who were immediately killed during the first chapter)

It'll go back to the intermittent update of the remaining cast though (it would have probably flowed better if I had started with the Reaping pic and THEN go into the murderfest start ah well)

See, you may not be able to make it up a floor until a certain amount of you have been killed already. Someone is most likely gonna have to gun for ya one way or the other to move so yeah…keep that in mind huh? Simple right? Just gotta climb the tower and reach your salvation and potential reward! Ready to get started!?”

Megan tried to speak up

“Uhh yeah, can you j-“

“AWESOME! I’ll be in touch! Good luck to all of you”

King swiped a remote away from Snake and struck a pose

“LET THE GAMES BEGIN!”

A beeping sound is heard as King presses the remote.

You’d figure at this point the door would open to allow them to proceed.

Well…something like that happened.

All at once Megan felt the floor disappear from under feet

“WHAT THE H-“

The crowd found itself falling into the abyss. Snuggle the bear hugged on to Katara as she tried to brace herself! The various children were screaming in terror, some others tried to find something to grab only to find nothing.

There was nothing Megan could do but yell out.

Yeah.

This was no dream.

This was the beginning of a nightmare.

CRUNCH!!!!!!

When the shadows cleared the man was nowhere to be seen, but the flattened remains of the wrestler was in plain view!

BY GAWD HE BODY SLAMMED HIM INTO A MEAT PATTY!

Then there was Gon…

Only Gon…

There were a few moments of peace…maybe he was gone? I mean, he hadn’t really had the chance to attack so maybe he would be spared

The little dinosaur tried to scuttle back into the crowd. Only to run into someone’s leg

The man in the skull helmet stared down at him.

Gon shook his head as if saying “No….”

King nodded his head as if saying “Yes…”

King proceeded to pick up Gon and leaped high into the air! He slam dunked his skull into an overhanging meat hook and dangled from above! After a few moments he managed to swing himself on to the balcony with his fellows

The man looked back at the crowd, not noticing the shocked expressions of his fellow hosts

“….Tadahhhh..?”

The crowd was still looking at the dangling corpse of the little dinosaur looking guy hanging above them
Then a few members of the crowd began to cry…or yell inarticulately as was the case with the Crazy Cat Lady

“WAAAHHHHHH MEESA WANT TO GO HOOOOOOME”

John looked up at his cohort

“Went a little overboard didn’t you?”

King shrugged

“I like to think of it as leaving an impression.”

Suddenly out of nowhere the man materialized a megaphone

“HELLO EVERYBODY! You may have missed it during all the carnage, but you can call me KING. I’ll be the guy mainly running this little shindig! I know I know things started off a little rocky, but I’m really not so bad a guy but yeah…”

King spread his arms out addressing the carnage that took place

“Probably best not to cross me ya? Anyway allow me to explain how things are gonna go! Kay?

Nobody in the crowd dared to do anything at this moment

“Ahem…so yeah as these guys said, you’ll all be competing to survive this place! See we are currently in a Tower which is basically our little base of operations of sorts here. You are in our well…I guess you could call it a basement? This place is filled with alllll sorts of weird things both fantastic and deadly. Heck who knows just what lies here huh? So yeah, you guys will be trying to navigate your way up the tower to make it to the end while avoiding deadly hazard or getting killed by each other!”

The crowd shrugged and looked at each other in confusion

The figure was gone again for a brief moment and then instantly upon the herculean leader of this little riot. With blinding speed he swung a scythe like blade upward in a turning motion, jamming it right through the bottom of his jaw! Gaston screamed and gurgled in pain as he was helplessly dragged toward the man by the proverbial hook in his mouth

With his back still turned to Gaston he brought him close enough that his chest was pressing against his back and his ear was close to him

“King.”

After that, “King” jerked the blade forward and tore Gaston’s face off from the bottom up. The mutilated muscle man staggered back two steps before collapsing on the ground dead.

At this point many within the crowd that had stayed back started screaming.

Tigger and The Yazz began to panic and tried to gain altitude toward the balcony not to attack the other two hosts at this point, but for safety!

Meanwhile Foxy raised his hands!

“SLOW SLOW BEAAAM”

King tilted his head and vanished again, dodging the attack only to reappear somewhere else. Each time Foxy tried to hit him, the man would just dodge again, striking a mocking pose each time he reappeared

“Bastaaaard! You think you can make fun of me!?”

King leaned against a cane that appeared out of nowhere

“Yeah. Yeah I think so!”

Foxy, infuriated at being made a fool out of, fired an even more powerful beam with larger area of effect

However, due to being blinded by his own anger, Foxy failed to notice Tigger descending for another bounce

“Aho hoo hoo hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo”

Tigger suddenly began to slow down to a snail’s pace as King casually strolled up and grabbed the little tiger by his tail

“SO LONG GAY TIGER!”

The King spun around like a tornado and flung Tigger into The Yazz with incredible force and speed! The Yazz tried to dodge but well…that didn’t go so well for him

The Yazz exploded into gore from the sheer force of the impact! Tigger also began to explode in slow motion…before outright popping when time resumed normally for himself!

Foxy stumbled back on to his ass!

“N-Now y-y-you stay back! SLOW SLOW”

The King grabbed Foxy’s hand and shoved it into his Foxy’s own mouth. The beam shot out, leading to Foxy accidentally slowing himself

The King reached into his robe sleeve and revealed a long blade

“Ooo I always wanted to try something like this. ZANDATSU!”

The man began to strike foxy with the blade with lightning speed from every possible angle. The crowd watched in utter shock as Foxy slowly started flying every which way in pieces

Just to look cool, the man turned his back and slowly sheathed the blade. As the blade clicked Foxy’s shredded remains flew into the crowd of bystanders!

The mayhem wasn’t over though. The man slowly turned his head to John Cena and pointed at him shaking his head. He materialized another scythe and slashed at the air! A blade of razor like wind sliced through the chain, causing John to fall helplessly to the ground!

“Arrrghahah…..grghh..”

John slowly tried to get to his feet only to notice some of the crowd looking up

“King what the hell are you doing!?”

The man was now on top of the balcony holding his hand to his ear like he wanted to hear something. He then pointed down at the weak wrestler.

Then the man leaped from the balcony! Like an angel of death he descended on the wrestler and a mass of shadows erupted upon impact

With these three strong guys riling up the crowd, four more came forward. A weird looking dinosaur like guy, a cow, another weird dinosaur looking alien known as The Yazz, and finally a bouncing tiger…

…Well to be fair, Tigger mainly came forward to show off his sick bouncing skills. Have you seen dat bouncing prowess. Holy shit he has such awesome bouncing skills you don’t even KNOW!

John tried to calm down the increasingly agitated crowd

“N-now settle d-“

Gaston puffed out his chest

“You know! I think it is high time someone taught you two ruffians a lesson! Don’t mess with your betters!”

Snake was rubbing his temples in annoyance over how fucking grating this meathead was.

Gaston looked back to the crowd

“What say you! Shall you all join me in dealing with them so we may figure a way out of here!

John looked increasingly flustered

“Now wait just a m-“

John Cena pointed at…John

“Shut up you pudgy idiot! We’ll be dealing with you in a minute!”

Johnbobb slumped

“P…pudgy?”

John seemed really bummed by that comment. Snake patted John on the back to cheer him up only to notice John Cena beginning to climb up one of the chains up toward them.

Well…this hadn’t happened before…

Gaston turned to the bouncing tiger

“You, do you think you can bounce up there and get to them”

Tigger was enthusiastic as fuck about the suggestion

“Bounce!? Of course, nobody bounces like Tigger! The wonderful thing about Tiggers is t-

Gaston grabbed Tigger and threw him ahead

“Yeah I don’t care, just get bouncing! You! Start smashing that door”

Gaston ordered the Miltank to attack…although he wasn’t her master, Miltank couldn’t help but follow Gaston’s command. He was so fucking manly! She began to do a rollout and charged at the door to inevitably break it down

John was visibly perturbed

“Uhh”

The Yazz began to take flight and make his way toward them, meanwhile Foxy strolled forward nonchalantly, ready to use his powers on them if they tried to escape

Gon bared his fangs and got Gaston’s attention! Gaston proceeded to pick him up and prepared to chuck him at the balcony

As this was all going on John Cena had almost reached the top!

Miltank was about to collide into the door and threaten to break it down outright with her brute strength

Snake narrowed his eyes and reached for a button…

“MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIL-”

An animalistic shriek filled the air!

Snake hesitated…he hadn’t done that…

It all happened in an instant

One moment that boulder of a beast was ready to steamroll through the door

The next…well…

Miltank was split into two! Blood exploded out and painted the door ahead with a fresh coat of red. As her lifeless body lost momentum, her dismembered limbs helplessly slammed against the door like little meat chunks

“Hehehehehhhh eheh.”

The man struck a pose



The crowd froze and saw the culprit. A figure in a black hooded robe wearing a skull like helmet adorned with a small crown. Gaston eyes slowly widened as he (and everyone else) was trying to process what was happening

The tributes look up to find two people standing above them from some sort of viewing balcony overlooking a large door that seemed like the way forward. One appeared to be wearing some sort of Police outfit. He seemed to stare down at him with his cold snake like eyes. The second one appeared to be a cheerful fellow, clad in some sort of priestly robes and wearing a crown of flowers.

Weevil Underwood raised his fist

“H-Hey! What’s the big idea!? Do you know who I am!?

The man in the police attire rolled his eyes. What an annoying little bug he must have been thinking. His companion however addressed the crowd courteously

“Now now, I understand that you are all a bit shaken, but allow me to explain!”

The man spread his arms out in an arc and yelled out to the crowd

“WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO THE 22nd B8 HUNGER GAMES! You may call me John and this is my friend Snake! You have all been brought here at the behest of our Observers to take part in our survival game to determine our next Champion! In these games, you shall all compete for survival against this place and each other until only one of you is left standing! That lucky tribute will have the honor of becoming our champion and have the chance to perhaps reach even greater heights a-“

Vaan tried to raise his hand to ask a question only for Anduin Wrynn to beat him to the punch

“Um yeah hold on, I have a question.”

The man smiled

“Of course, what is it?”

Anduin frowned

“Did you say…survival?”

The man nodded

“So that means this is some sort of…death game”

The man paused

“Well I mean-“

Snake put a hand on John’s shoulder and shook his head, as if urging him not to divulge any more information! Despite this Anduin continued.

“Why!? Why do this? Why would we be summoned here for something like this!?”

The man was slightly flustered

“Well as I said our Observers-“

Tidus suddenly came forward

“Yeah, who the heck are these “Observers” you keep talking about, why the heck did they want us here for whatever this is in the first place huh!?”

“Well that is-“

Snake spoke up interrupting his comrade to address the question himself.

“It’s because they hate you…”

Everyone suddenly shut up…Tidus looked up at the Snake eyed man

“Huh?”

Snake repeated himself

“The one who had you summoned here did so because they hated you for whatever reason…”

Tidus was speechless for a moment

“T-that’s it!? THAT’S THE REASON!?”

Snake nodded

“Yes.”

There was a bit of disheartening silence…

A large Adonis of a man strolled out ahead of everyone and comically shoved the wimpy priest and the blonde blitzball player aside to the ground

“HOW DARE YOU! HOW COULD ANYONE HATE GASTON!? I AM THE STRONGEST AND MOST HANDSOME MAN FROM MY HOME! CLEARLY YOU TWO ARE INSANE!”

A large nosed man smugly walks forward beside the large man

“FEEEHH FEHFEHFEH! Better watch what you say you two. Foxy the Silver Fox is not one to make an enemy of!”

Out of fucking nowhere music began to blare causing the rest of the crowd to look around in confusing!



John fucking Cena ran out of the crowd and stood beside Gaston and Foxy

“Yeah you chumps don’t know who you are dealin with!”

CHAPTER 1: Crucible of Blood

A little girl groans as she awakens inside what appears to be a cell of some kind! As one would expect she begun panicking.

“WHAT IS THIS!? LET ME OUT! LET ME OUT OF HERE! I SWEAR I AM GOING TO GET YOU TWO IF YOU’RE BEHIND THIS!”

Megan Parker slammed her fists against the iron door but there was no response. Megan slumped against the wall. This had to be a dream. Sure she could be a bit of a jerk to her idiot brothers but she never thought they would go this far. No, something else was up here. She just had to calm down and th-

Suddenly there is a loud buzzing sound and a blood red light shines above the iron door! It then slowly creaks open…

Well…if she was going to find any answers, she wasn’t going to find them in this cell! Megan picks herself up and walks out!

She makes her way into what appears to be a large room. It felt like it came straight out of some horror film or something as rusty chains hung from above and stains of dried blood painted the dirty floor!

Along the walls of the room were many other cells such as her own which had also begun to open. Various beings began to make their ways out and into the room! Megan figured they probably had just as much an idea of what was going on as she did, but it couldn’t hurt to try talking to em!

Megan approached a girl that seemed close to her age clad in some sort of weird blue garment. She was talking to a…was that a freakin talking bear?

Oh yeah, this had to be a dream.

“Hey you two!”

The small stuffed bear yelped and hugged on to the girl’s leg as she turned to Megan

“Oh…hello.”

Megan folded her arms

“So I don’t suppose you two have any clue what all this is huh?”

The girl shook her head

“I don’t know…I-…I can’t seem to recall how I ended up here. By the way, I’m Katara.”

Megan didn’t remember asking her what her name was but she decided to play nice for now

“…Megan. So…who’s the bear?”

The little bear shyly peaked his head out while still hugging Katara’s leg.

“S-Snuggle…”

Megan raised her hands in the air bewildered

“Welp! Great, so we’re in who knows where and I’m talking to a literal stuffed bear! Yep, this is totally normal. This has gotta be a dream”

Nearby a bunch of other kids noticed a girl similar to their age and started to approach

“Yeah…she’s right. This has gotta be a dream! Right guys?”

Her fellow Kids all started nodding to each other in agreement, trying to find comfort in their denial of the situation they were in.

Judy Hopps who was standing nearby shook her head and thought to herself

(“No…no I think this is real…at least in some sense. I vaguely remember…something like this b-“)

The sound of a loud bell interrupts the commotion and gets everyone to snap at attention. The bell echoes slowly throughout the room, shaking each tribute at their core. A few moments later they are greeted by someone

“Hello everyone!”

Also just checked again after test running it and noticed the death rate was different than how I usually have it however I also feel it is kinda fitting given the game

so I figure I'd ask (although I may just leave it anyway)

The question we need to ask ourselves here is which party would be helped most by knowing everything that we know. Jack clearly has access to the narrative's timescale, which opens a lot of options, though still leaves everything pretty murky.

True I just figured by his power it was referring to the warp thing rather than his partial narrative viewing hax (or maybe a combo of both maybe Jack fills them in on stuff happening which leads to Reggie shifting forces around or whatever)

From that I figure

A. Just sticks to current plan (meet up with potential Undercity guys then cruise by Silver City). This is what Kennedy is planning for with the information / situation that he had access to at that given time so that is probably what he thinks is going on for whatever future moves he might make barring other stuff happening? Maybe if stuff goes down along this current path Jack may still be able to help

B. I don't know if there is much to be done here unless Jack can warp REALLLLY far and its happening right now. I am just referring to

"You're worried about your friends who went with him," Jack said.
Jack looked sad for some reason. "I can't tell you what happens, though."
"That part hasn't happened yet. I mean, it has. But not in a way that I can see."

but I dunno

C. Someone like Martin may be able to make some use of Jack's abilities / knowledge from the choices available assuming it leads to something like that. I am just wondering how it plays out with Reggie and the current plan with Erensworth

Man I vaguely remember this character from when I was a kid when this show (I think it was this one) was on Saturday FOX / WB or something

This was the one that started out with some guy killing a small dragon at a school or something right (yet dragons pretty much never come up again after said point)? Never saw the whole thing

Hello dear Observers and welcome to another nomination phase for an approaching game!

Last time we called upon you to bring in wacky toons so they could duke it out for the title of the 21st Champion! Alliances both Deadly and Unorthodox were formed as blood was spilled across the land! In the end, one particular alliance made it to the finale, but as we all know only one may be left standing

And so it was that Raka_Putra's royal tribute, Princess Clara would strike down her ally Uncle Chan in Mortal Kombat and stand victorious as our 21st Champion.

Alas that is in the past, today we ask something different of you!

The theme of this game is: HATRED!

That's right! This time we ask you to nominate characters / things from various worlds that you HATE so that they may undergo a Crucible of Hardship to attain the title of the 22nd Champion! Most will fall, but one shall rise up...and who knows, maybe the experience will make them worth rooting for by the end..? That or slightly less deserving of your hatred!

RULES:

Simply post the name of the character you are nominating, their source, and why you hate them! (You can post a pic of them as well to make it easier if you want)

The writeup of your reason(s) for hating them can be as short as a sentence or as long as you wish (spoiler as you feel is needed). I would prefer if it wasn't something as simplistic as "I hate their shoes" or something (although depending on the situation it may be a viable reason).

You are sending your nom in to potentially be brutally massacred or suffer their way to the top so it should be a character you really hate no?...Granted the suffering and massacring parts aren't exactly new to the games but I am sure you know what I mean!

Who knows? Depending on what occurs in the game there may be something for a few who really show hatred for their nom.

If I don't know who the character is I may ask for details or may just wing it (I do that a lot!)

We start at ONE NOM PER USER and will gradually add the tribute limit per user over time until the roster is filled!

To be fair last time Keyuri got involved she was indirectly responsible for Blue Wing getting YS

Also now that I think about it, I think Hayes is the only character ever who got laid in one of these stories (well during the story itself anyway)
