See, this is why I don't support any damn thing on Kickstarter. There is NO GUARANTEE, I repeat, NO GUARANTEE, that you will ever see a finished product or a return on investment.

I did manage to snag a NES Classic Edition, on my stay at home because I'm broke, Honeymoon.

Bank Robber is a manager at Best Buy and he told me anout the final shipment coming in on Monday. So, the wife and I got up early, stood in line, and got one.

It is now hooked up in my bedroom and she kicked my ass in Dr. Mario. I also suck at Mario 3 now, but not at Double Dragon II. So, I see it as a push.

It was an interesting few days.

Family made the experience terrible and great. Either way somehow it all got done, and I'm in bed with Scarlett listening to the rain.

Hopefully there will be enough for everybody this time around. (Probably Not.)

I bring up as an example of Bruce being u willing to be happy; "Hush" all of Hush.

Also, my point is that Bruce is more psychologically damaged than Peter, and will never be happy. Because he won't let himself.

Crap just galena to Peter; very little self sabotage. (Except Brand New Day. Which was terrible.)

Batman is worse than Spider-Man because Peter can at least be happy. Bruce hasn't been happy since before going to the opera that night. He will never be happy again because he is so scared to be happy again because of the overwhelming fear that his happiness will be taken away.

At least Peter overcomes that fear and tries again. Bruce is too afraid to try.

I feelnhorrible for feeling the same way the writers do about Peter Parker.

He isn't a happy character, he is a tragic character, he should suffer.

Peter Parker is primarily driven by guilt. The guilt of loss and failure compel him. He can't and shouldn't have victory without first experiencing loss.

I was browsing Amazon as I was watching Street Fighter V and King of the Fighters XIV on Twitch.

Well, it got me thinking about the Xbone One. We were talking earlier about Project Scorpio being fairly expensive, but not a lot of games.

I mentioned Horizon Zero Dawn and Persona 5 as hot exclusives, but I forgot about MLB: The Show, (The only baseball game.) and The Kingdom Hearts remakes as well.

Not to pile onto Microsoft, even though I am, but why would you choose an Xbox over a ps4? Because all the games are on Sony's machine.

I could day the same thing about Final Fantasy XIV, when it compares to wrestling, but I won't.

I don't want to speculate about The Last Jedi too much because it was just a teaser trailer. We all need more context to form an option.

Even though it is fun to guess.

Well, let us all hate Nintendo. Those asshats over at the house Mario built has decided to stop North American production of the NES Classic Edition.

It was almost impossible to get one at Thanksgiving and Christmas, and well now it will be damn near impossible to get one ever. Good move Nintendo.

I don't see the advantage in doing this other than to keep the buzz going until they announce a SNES Classic Edition later this year or spring next year. But that still makes little sense...

I watch Raw and Smackdown every week. Oh, the DVR is great because I watch 5 hours of wrestling a week and condense it to just over an hour. I watch the promos I like, the wrestlers I like, and the matches that seem interesting. You can tell 95% of the matvh putvomes feom the booking so there are very few surprises.

As for Roman. I know what they are doing, but man it would be great if he was dead. It would spare us from having to deal with him every week. Although, Scarlett thinks he is a good looking man, and doesn't mind seeing him every week.

Yes, she doesn't understand that he is a lump with no charisma, his in ring talent is limited, and he couldn't cut a promo to save his life....but....hes tall, dark, and handsome so she wants him around for eye candy. Personally I have no use for him.

I'm okay with the champ not being on Raw every week.

I grew up in an era where the champ wasn't on television every week. In fact if there was a wrestler you loved, Mr. Perfect, you didn't see him wrestle that often at all until the modern Monday Night Raw era.

The problem is that the champ is Brock Leaner, and I really don't like that steroided up freak. He hurts people more than he wrestles and that is a huge problem. Buy Vince likes him and he's a big name attraction, and the show must go on people.

Is Roman Reigns dead now?

Do we have to listen to his terrible charisma-less promos now?

Do we have to watch him lumber around the ring doing 5 moves? (Drive by, clothesline, uppercut punch, Superman Punch, and Spear.)

I hope so!!!

http://deadspin.com/ric-flair-reportedly-kicked-out-of-fort-wayne-bar-for-1794162632

Mainly because I don't know how much money he has left.

The alcoholic and moronic behavior can be tolerated if he still has millions in the bank, but who knows if he does? Either way he's probably going to die broke and alone, but man will he have a lot of great stories to tell.

And isn't that what really matters?

Microsoft is that stupid. It's just a rumor of the price right now, but do you think the bean counters over at Microsoft would design a console just to lose money?

We are looking at a possible 200 to 300 dollar loss on each Scorpio sold if they retail it at 499.99 or even 599.99. It could be a ps3 situation, but I'm not sure that Microsoft is willing to sell Scorpio at a loss to obtain Market share.

It's just an uphill battle, and Microsoft doesn't have the gimmicks that Nintendo spouts with something like The Switch. So, they are going the over powered route, and if you look at video game history it doesn't always work out well taking that course of action.

The other topic was wrestling related.

I always knew The Senator *JBL.) Was a Vince Mcmahon kissass. I have heard the rumors for years, and read a few stories from accounts from Matt and Jeff Hardy so this is not a surprise.

What he "Allegedy Did" to Justin Roberts is a shame, and for a company that prides itself on its anti-bullying campaign it's just ironic that this goes on behind the scenes. Not shocking at all, but ironic.

I have a lot of things to bring up, but I will start with the fact that the Xbone Scropio is probably going to retail for 699.99.

I am aware that it will be backwards compatible with Xbone 1 and 360 games, but that's a lot of bones to throw at a console that doesn't have a wealth of exclusives.

In the first 4 months alone the PlayStation has given us 3 great exclusives. Nioh, Horizon Zero Dawn, and just this week Persona 5. The Xbox has given us...

Hell I can argue the Xbone One isn't worth the 250 asking price that Microsoft wants now. Yet, they are going to try to command 700 for Halo 6 and Forza 4 on a brand new console?

Scalebound looked interesting, but we will never see that game. Its off to the great big cancellation game realm in the sky.

To quote Rick and Morty: "Microsoft, get your **** together! Get it all together, your ****!"

2 weeks from today and I'm married.

It's an outdoor wedding so I'm watching the weather forecast carefully. There isn't going to be any rain. So far we have lucked out. Things change, but so far so good.

Also, that sausage biscuit was good. Eve Online is still bad.

If someone tells you not to smoke meth; then why the hell are you going out there smoking meth? (Referring to EVE: Online.)

It's not good for you, it's addicting, it's a time sink, and it's going to take all your money. Like meth. (Maybe even your teeth.)

Entity is trapped in Final Fantasy XIV purgatory, and we might see her again in 2019, if we are lucky.

I'm going to get a sausage biscuit. You sit there and think about what you have done young man. And when I get back I hope you have learned your lesson.

Are any of you playing or plan on getting Persona 5?

It looks amazing from the streams I have watched the last 2 days. However, I am way short on money with the wedding to buy video games. Nevertheless, video games like Persona 5 are off the list until Christmas at the earliest.

Speaking of marriage. It's on Aprill 22, just a few weeks away. We are going to get the marriage license on Friday so there is no turning back now.

I laughed when Scarlett told me that the marriage license only cost 25 bucks. That's a tiny amount of money for so much work and potential problems or bliss.

Suicide Squad is terrible. That movie has editing, pacing, plot, and characters development problems out the ass.

Saying all that... it is still light years ahead of Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice.

The DC murder-verse is terrible and those fools should stick to animated movies, but then they do something like mess up "The Killing Joke" and I just want to scream.

For over a 5 hour show a lot of the matches did feel rushed. A great deal of them didn't take the time to tell the psychology needed to tell a good in ring story to flesh out the story lines of the past few months.

The Jericho/Owens match comes to mind because that was the most fleshed out feud of the entire show. It's just the nature of the beast when it comes to a bloated shoe like Mania. That and Jericho is taking time off to play music with his band Fozzy.

Roman needs a heel run and could succeed at it, but Vince just isn't going to let that happen. Why? I'm not even sure because he was the heel in this feud. He is well on his way to being Cena Jr or Hulk Hogan Jr, and no one wants that. It's not smart.

If this is Taker's last match; then he will be missed. Also, Roman is terrible.

Joss Whedon is on the short list, basically it's a done deal, to write and direct a Batgirl movie for Warner Brothers and DC.

It's not a bad choice considering Marvel killed his hopes and dreams after Avwnhers 2. Which wasn't that bad of a mpvie, but it wasn't that good either. Middle ground effort because of a lot of studio interference. Basically the Spider-Man 3 effect.

I don't know why he thinks it's going to be different across town. The grass isn't always greener, but Warner Brothers needs a hit in their Snyder Murder Verse, and Whedon is a big Geeky name.

Let's see how much rope they give him....

I was just about to say; "I see your Breath of the Wild and raise it Persona 5."

I guess the problem a lot of us have with the gushing and glowing reviews of Breath of the Wild is that the final "Perfect" or "Near Perfect" review scores is that they seem to ignore a lot of the flaws with the game.

For comparison go back and look at the Halo 5 reviews. Reviewers complained endlessly about the resolution of the game.

"What do you mean Halo 5 isn't running at 60fps and 1080p? It's Halo!!!"

Therefore, why does Zelda get a pass? Because the other games in the series were endlessly linear, and this one isn't? There just seems to be a double standard.

I know that the people at Nintendo are wizards at working with an under powered consoles, but it's 2017 no game should run at less than 1080p. At least no triple A game should run at less than that resolution. Thats not to speak of the fact thatt they can't even get a steady 30 frames per second.

So yes I'm complaining, but you want me to spend upwards of 400 dollars on a new console, a game, and a SD card, I would like a little modern convinences like HD graphics, steady frame rate, a large hard drive, and the ability to charge my handheld while while playing the game.

With everyone gushing over The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild it's nice to know that there is an interesting juxtaposition.

http://theconcourse.deadspin.com/god-help-me-i-dont-like-the-new-legend-of-zelda-game-1793718635

A lot of the comaints he make are a lot of the same ones I have observed watching streams of the game. (Weapons break to easily, frame rate issues, repetition.)

I finally got my hands on Breath of the Wild and The Switch this weekend when I went to see Bank Robber to discuss last minute wedding details.

The console or portable is much larger than I thought it would be with the joy cons attached. However, the overall resolution and screen quality was pretty horrible. Zelda looked like an moderate definition game, and not a high resolution 2017 flagship game.

Nevertheless, the animation and draw distance was great, but it just doesn't have the visual fidelity of a high end PC or ps4 game.

The two Amazing Spider-Man movies were decent movies. Nothing to write home about.

Personally, I'm fine with a reboot or restart or whatever if they finally get the characters, tone, and plot correct.

I love Spider-Man 2. It's not perfect, but man did they get Peter and his life right. If they do that in Homecoming then I can't really ask for more.

For me the action is secondary to his personal life and struggles. Getting that correct is far more important than the villain or action set pieces.

You know the rules: Post anything Geek related. Video games, comics, movies, television shows, music, board games etc.

The usual opening question to keep the topic going...

"What annoys you the most about modern gaming? What do you like the most about modern gaming? Finally, what do you miss and not miss about classic gaming?"

Wrap up from "Fantastic Geeks" coming up...
