I don't understand what's confusing here. This guy did this numerous times, without consent, and without communication. Trying to have sex while your spouse is asleep with prior communication/permission or trying to stir them with it is completely different. You never intended to hide it and you'd stop/wouldn't do it if there was a consent issue. This guy took no avenues to inform his wife and continued to do it while recording it.

I actually believe Civil Service should be mandatory for a 2 year period post-high school. You should be able to choose military service instead if you like, but the focus should be on instilling the values of helping your fellow man in the society you live in. It strengthens a nation and creates positive nationalism since everybody in that generation lent a helping hand to their society.

Because built-up medical debt causes a weak economy by reducing the amount of money people have to spend, reducing profits and wages. One large issue effecting a large number of individuals will eventually result in collective economic problems. Whether or not it should be their responsibility alone by your logic is irrelevant to the reality that society is not purely individualist and collective issues affect everybody.

I don't even need a pro-UHC argument on this. You're paying for other people's healthcare by getting health insurance, which you will require at some point in your life. You're also already paying through it because of public programs - public hospitals, for example, without which debt issues would potentially get even worse.

I blame movies. Back in the 80s and 90s there were stuff you could watch which celebrated masculinity and made you feel like a motherfucking man and that even if you were a beta weakling you could watch Rocky IV or something like Predator or Commando and still feel hair grow on your chest as a 14 year old.

Now where do young guys and teens go for that stuff? All shows barely celebrate macho manliness anymore. Its all beta stuff trying to be PC and for tumblr kins.

Even shows or movies you might recommend right now are nothing like their counterparts from decades ago. Its a known fact that when males feel manly their sperm count increases and if they feel effeminate it decreases their testosterone levels there are studies that prove this.

They didn't know he would die.

They clearly knew he would face harm if they suspected what he was drinking was some sort of chemical, and them egging him on to do it indicates they knew precisely what they were doing. Even if they didn't assume he'd die, he still did, meaning they should face charges for negligence.

They had suspicions and encouraged him regardless. Contextually, they knew what he was drinking could potentially be dangerous but encouraged him regardless. Hence, lock these officers up for at least 15-20 years.

and normal people don't attempt to drink toxic chemicals.

This isn't relevant because there's no reason that it ever should've gotten to the point where he was allowed to drink the chemicals. They could've stopped him and confiscated them immediately but apparently thought encouraging him to drink the chemicals was a better idea. His stupidity does not negate the negligence displayed by the officers.
