Religion is, first of all, very private and personal. It's not something that should openly be discussed or debated. And that's because plenty of times, topics like these are designed to call out believers (the devout, the falsely devoted, the extremists etc etc ) and non-believers alike to defend their stance.

Personally speaking, I do not feel the need to justify or defend my faith. In the end, when it's all said and done, it really matters not, what others think. As long I'm not hindered in my freedom to worship and am not hindering someone's freedom, then I'm all good.

True believers should not take offense in these things. Just like we are free to worship, people are free to think for themselves. People are allowed to have opinions; even if they are opposed to one's own. True faith does not need vindication or approvals externally. It does not need to win an argument or debate. True faith rests within.

Exactly this too. Though i don't mind debates, helps me understand my faith and just hardens it even more honestly.

Personally, I liked walt. things just spun out of control. Walt only made one mistake, that was killing jesse's girlfriend. Should have just let jesse and her leave. Yeah shit may have come back but his business with Guss was the best ever. I feel more for Guss then walt though. Dude had a great empire going, killed only when it was necessary and gave people chances. Did a lot for the community as well. I'm not from Texas, I was just using the article as an example. My state has never really had a knife length limit, but people here kept trying to tell me that didn't mean I could carry a sword,which is basically a really long knife. I was using the article to disprove that claim.

That being said, for some reason or another, I've never seen a person carry a sword here. They probably just assume it's illegal or something.

Well if your state doesn't have a limit you probably can. It is more that people don't reall have a reason to carry a sword. ones tha twant to carry weapons probably prefer handguns to swords.

My state has never had any restrictions on knives or bladed weapons other than ballistic knives, "throwing stars", and not having them in places like schools or brandishing them at people. This is how i feel too. Even with firearms. People should be allowed to carry but they need basic understanding of the weapon. Going through parental cancer is tough. My mom had breast cancer a few years ago. Chemo sucks and can cause other problems but it's better then dying. Luckily prostate cancer isn't as serious as it used to be. He will survive, and if chemo is necessary, don't sweat it.

My mom got breast cancer right after i lost a grandparents one on both sides. So that news hit me really hard. SO i know how devastating it can be emotionally. We are all here for you though.

It is the best bottles water you can get. With that said, it being worth it is up for debate. Depends on if you want to spend the extra money on some of the best tasting water or get the cheaper ones for cost effeciency. I think it is worth it if you have the extra money to spend.

I remember 1st grade having a male teacher, 2nd grade i dont remember any males, 3rd grade had some but i had a female.. 4th grade had 2 male teachers that i can remember, i got a female. 5th grade i had a male teacher and there was another i believe. But the 5th grade teacher retired at the end of the school year. He was such a important teaher they made a reward for the school in honor of him. Principal was a male.

Probably just after our car accident when I was 9. I was sent home untreated, and the injuries I had made it impossible to sleep. The longer it went on(several days) the worse it became. I think I ended up going like 4 days with no sleep, food, or water(trips to hospital during those days where I had IV drips though). When i was a kid it was every weekend i would stay up yell the next day, sk e i wouldn't but a majority of the ime me and my friends stay up all night and day. My thing is, i have seen woman that use abortions as birth control. That shit is fuckin sick. Abortion should be the last resort and should have some looking into besides "im a woman and i want an abortion" i assume most abortions have some kind of counsiling or therapeutic examination before continuing. This isn't just "im a christian hero derp" balogna that people are spoiting as thenonly defenders of a fetish. It is a potential life incubating, to me that should mean something to people.

Now this law shouldn't effect woman who were raped, that's terrible and they should not be forced to have the baby. If a woman is raped she should immediately go to the doctor and get checked out anyways. Who knows what std's the guy had. They should file for rape and be able to get an abortion asap. But rape is a horrible thing on the psyche, so i understand needing a under the radar abortion.

But under normal circumstances (that is what we are talking about, non of this domestic abuse stuff, falls under rape in my eyes) the father should be informed. Maybe he doesn't have a right to choose but he should definitely be informed. I understand certain circumstances the woman would not want anyone to know, but it has to be more then "i am embrassed of anyone finding out".

Now i don't know where this law lands with that. Since it is talking about somethngs i don't understand or have the time too. But abortions in general are more complicated and absolutely not black and white. I just feel abortions should not be a form of birth control, father should at least be informed under normal circumstances, parents notified if under age, therapeutic counsiling. abuse or rape should be marked on the abortion paperwork as to why they feel parents or father shouldn't be notified. Valid reason would be; abuse, rape, unknown father, life threatening etc. A lot of thought should go into this decision and abortions should be discouraged, not because they are wrong, but because it shouldn't be a easy decision.

This was probably jsutr to test the waters and see what appeal it will bring. It is much cheaper for a stupido to do a 4 episode pilot instead of a whole season. The studio obviously doesn't think it will do that well but if it does, they have a new series on their hands.

Whether I agree with what he did or not, it doesn't seem like something worth being considered a "strike" against him. Plus, when you call them "strikes", you pretty much set the expectation that it takes 3 to terminate you.

Probably nothing, yeah. Unfortunately, as in this case, too many women will use the societal bias that sees them as more sympathetic than men and more likely to be a victim to distort the facts and cry wolf to get negative attention thrust upon a man the woman is feuding with or doesn't like.
They ruin it for the actual victims, but I'd feel pretty bad harassing an innocent man because I just assumed the crying female is being honest.
And society has also repeatedly demonstrated that it will punish good deeds. Take this case or any other case where an employee tries to physically stop a shoplifter and is fired for it.
I read a week or two ago about some poor guy who found a little girl all alone at a park and went around with her asking people if she was their kid. The dad who was off playing baseball while she was unattended heard about it and assaulted the guy and had his friends/relatives put up his picture and info on the internet and labeled him a pedo, leading to the guy getting death threats and having to leave town.

So yeah, fuck it. Just don't help (especially anything involving kids if you're an adult male...just stay the hell away and don't get involved).

Not gonna lie, the dude should have found a woman to help instead. Males can't be around kids we don't know because we are all pedophiles ready to rape any kid that moves, well at least according to society : p

Well Some of it is deeply ingrained into our very DNA.

The what to wear thing is not one of these things (at least to my knowledge).

But what to play with actually is. Boys who are young as like 8 months will choose mechanical toys where as girls will choose more social toys such as dolls. These results are consistently repeatable as the norm and were done with children this young to show that they were not influenced by society to be told what to play with.

Theres always some one who has got to say "but I/my brother/sister/cousin didnt like to play with those toys". It should go without saying that theres always the exception but that doesnt disprove the rule.

There are also other roles dedicated to women and roles dedicated to men.

Well yeah, that's all well and good. My thing was for those that do go against the norm are ostracized for being different. My thing is that people are forcing it on those that don't want to do the norm. That is where i was going with it. Like woman are natural mothers, which is why they go after dolls. But it doesn't mean you have to force the ones who are against dolls to play with them because "that's what your supposed to do". Like if a little girl want's to play with action figures and make them fight is okay. But a little boy who wants to play house with dolls is considered a queer and no one should play with him. Things like that is what i am talking about.

I never understood gender roles. So what if you have a different sex organ, being restricted to what you can wear, play with, or act like shouldn't be focused on that. I honestly feel transgenders have multiple barriers to pass through. Getting rid of one barrier, like flippin gender roles, would help this cause a heck of a lot more then convincing them the only way to be happy is to change their sex organ. (I know its more complicated then that) this honestly would solve a lot of issues like boys being comsidered gay. We have tomboys but a tomgirl would be considered terrible. Just things society needs to get passed. Just seems like a silly thing in the big picture. As long as the race can reproduce and no one is getting hurt, no one should really give a shit. Hey i don't really like everythin people do and think some shit is weird as all heck but hey go for it, if it makes you happy do it. Just because i hate tomatoes, doesn't mean i feel tomatoes shouldn't exist. Others enjoy them a lot and i see no reason to rain on tomatoe lovers parade. Basically the way i see it, people have the choice to be whatever they want. If we can gentically splice people to be animals, i be fine as long as it is safe. I think people be flippin weird but hen i want to be a cyborg so, eh.

Very true, he never has to work for them again or shop there but he could have respectably said no. But he did do he right thing and i agree with how he felt. He was pissed and upset that they fired him for doing the right thing. I feel 10 days is way to late. If they got to him the next day i feel this response would be unwarranted. Well if your born with hands as feet and feet as hands, i would consider that a physical (sorry forgot this keyword last time lol) defect.
