Finish Route A of NieR yesterday and started on Route B.

I think this game is very good so far, but it lacks a bit of the charm the first game had, I think. I miss the wild gameplay swings, which Automata hasn't really had yet. That might still change, though.

It's not a huge difference right now, but with Gilgamesh's passives he gets a bigger bump to ATK than Chizuru does, and he's also capable of equipping any weapon while Chizuru is stuck with katanas.

Once enhancements come, his tri-attack because a 12-hit attack making him very good for chaining.

Pretty much everything is stored on the Square Enix servers, so when you upgrade your account and continue your adventure everything you did will still be there. Completed quest, dungeons, Leves etc. You just have to do everything 1 extra time for trophies to unlock.

I didn't think this seemed like it was the case, but I dunno. the trophies in the game are pretty dumb though, so maybe I wasn't looking at the counters. it's basically 25 versions of "do thing 1 time for a bronze, do thing 1000 times for silver".

Unless they changed it, trophies don't pop in the trial, and nothing you do counts towards trophy progress until you have the full game. That's how it was with the 14-day when I played last year.

Grandia definitely did the camera stuff, though that was only a few months before 'gears, and even that that was only in Japan. Grandia came out in the US after Xenogears.
