Depending on how HONORABLE you want to be, you can just cast 3 magic spells and hit him with water on turn 1, then run away before he gets a turn. You'll get credit for all the missions.

I have the moogles, tix, quartz and event equipment, so that's pretty much everything important. I'll probably just try to grab the cactuars and some 6* mats over the next two days. Not worth grinding out 35k for the ATK+15% I don't think.

Looks like I can get Noctis up to 739 with Deathbringer/Genji Blade/ATK +30%.

Still kind weak! Needs more TMs.

Woo! Managed to get him on the second try. Didn't get the no item achievement, but did all the others. Things got a little hairy after the second threshold, but I got some lucky RNG and recovered enough to keep going.

I know Bushido is good, but I'll probably wait a bit before tackling that again.

Readjusted some weapons and materia around a bit, so now Noctis + Purim should be able to seal all 6 elements on their own each turn. Can give it another shot in about 10 minutes.

Tried Gilgamesh, got wrecked. Bad prep. Also FFD is the only high-powered Noctis on my friend's list using Excalibur, which is kind of frustrating.

I did Eventide yesterday with pretty much no trouble. Most annoying part was killing the Hinox (which technically I didn't need to do, but did it anyway).
