The engine is clearly based around its processing capabilities so it would require a major downgrade in AI and whatnot to run it at double the speed. ignoring the bunch of nonsense that's being said in the top paragraph, next gen will have the same problem because the average consumer would rather have better resolution than a stable fps. blame grafix whores --- |

The secrets ARE ridiculously hard to find but they're also completely optional, the main game is pretty straightforward. The level design is non-linear, you're basically thrown into a huge 3D map with progression being dictated by keycards and some backtracking. If you pay attention to your surroundings it's usually pretty easy to know where to go. I think the level design for that game was way ahead of its time, personally. --- |
