I should probably clarify 2 of mine. North & South and Spot are both fun games, but they're "mostly" games you'd want to play with a 2nd player as opposed to the computer. Not that you can't still enjoy them that way, but I think they'd be more fun.

They're racing games done in an isometric perspective. They're pretty fun and can be challenging. Race around the track with 3 computers, get a few weapons to use while racing, collect money to upgrade your car's equipment or gather letters on the track to upgrade the type of car it is.

Oh I definitely plan to go through every stage, every robot and every theme. The only thing is I like to just come in fresh and say whatever is off the top of my head.

Personally I think we should just take it stage by stage and debate each one a stage at a time.

The reason why Discord is easier is because we can actually have a real chat instead of making posts. Example being if I ask a yes or no question you can simply say yes/no. Also the fact that you'll see my question and respond without either of us having to refresh.

MM4 is so much more refined. The themes are actually complete in the way that they don't ever sound randomized like some of MM5's do.

Well like I said before, MM2, MM3 and MM9 are the big 3 to most people. I usually see people place MM1, MM8 and MM10 at the bottom. That leaves 4, 5, 6 and 7. So the chance of 4 and 5 being right next to each other rankwise is a pretty high chance, and I just so happen to place 5 slightly higher.

If there are 4 themes I can not forgive getting praise, it is Astro Man's MM&B theme, Magic Man, Search Man and of course Star Man. I don't like Centaur Man's theme either but I can forgive that. The other though....just no.

Right, so how does he know there's two GnG characters, Jedah, and Monster Hunter BEFORE Ryce did then?

Out of all the people that were claiming to be leakers, and there were a lot, don't you suppose it's possible that one of them just happened to be right? I mean, we run a website with contests where the majority of people just guess on the outcome.

Besides, I don't recall Ryce ever telling him he was wrong about the GnG characters or Monster Hunter, and Ryce did accidentally let Jedah's reveal slip a long time before we got confirmation.

Now obviously I can't guarantee for 100% certainty that either Riku or Ryce is 100% legit, but Ryce is a lot more credible given that Riku has been wrong about things before.

I don't know about that. I found the wily machine and wily himself to be far more difficult in 5 than in 2. ...maybe that's just me?

That's up for debate I suppose.

MM2 is the only game I've ever been able to speed run successfully at around 45 minutes but that might have something to do with how many times I've actually played the game.

Really though, any of these games can be learned by repetition.

MM2 though is sort of like playing guitar hero for me. My button presses are nearly precise in every way each time I play it. I can hop across the blocks in Heat Man's stage for example without skipping a beat.

Obviously how often you've played something has a chance of making it easier for you, that's the same with most games. However, I think if you ask people which of the original 6 MM games is the easiest you're going to get a lot more people saying 5 than 2. 5 is definitely not the one I've played the most either, or even 2nd most.

Marvel is too busy trying to grab the movie going crowd to give a crap about the actual loyal fans of the series. That's why the people who actually care about the series will get the characters they want as DLC instead of in the main roster because they're the only one's that will be playing after the movie crowd drops this game in a few months. It's the easiest path for them to make a profit.

Overall MM5 is a better game than 4, the most obvious reason being you lose your charge when getting hit in 5, making it harder. The buster is a lot bigger and stronger though so maybe it isnt harder idk

While I do really like 5, I'd say 4 is more difficult honestly. 5 isn't that tough. It's probably the easiest of the original series honestly.

Yea I know. I really loved 9 when I played it, it immediately went into my top 3 of the original series so there's always a chance I'd really enjoy 10. I guess I haven't gotten around to it because of my huge backlog of games I have yet to play.

But I am glad to hear you say that you do like the tunes from MM4. It was almost sounding like you disliked the soundtrack period which I couldn't possibly imagine that any real Mega Man enthusiast would agree with.

Also I most certainly do not dislike 4's soundtrack. 4 does have a few themes I could put on repeat for hours.

This is an awful roster.

Capcom side is pretty bad
Marvel side is much worse

For the record though, I'm definitely not saying Mega Man 4 has a bad soundtrack. In fact, I think all of them with the exception of 10 because I haven't played it have a good soundtrack. I just think overall 5 > 4.

Oh come on now, surely you're not going to use that as a reference when I've already said Raetsel using that for score was a bad idea because it depends on what video you use.

If you want to get technical though, it's no coincidence that 2, 3, and 9 are the 3 most popular Mega Man games because they also have the best music. So that's at least 3 games in the series better than 4. I'd personally put 5 and 7 above 4 too, and I doubt I'm the only one. If you want to use technicalities, then I can say 5 and 7 are better than 4 because they're worth a lot more money than 4 is. ;p

5 and 7 are worth more now because they are harder to find/sold less copies.

Doesn't mean they are great.

2, 3 and 4 were sold in far larger quantities hence their value is lower since they are pretty easy to find.

That could mean they are the better 3 of the original 6 games. :P

I'm aware of why 5 and 7 are worth more, I was just using something that had nothing to do with the games themselves to prove which was better. Just like you were with youtube votes. =p

However, 5 is great, and I personally like 7 though I know a lot don't.

Also, 4 > 5? NO WAY! Especially if you're going by music alone. MM5 might have the awfulness that is Star Man and the blandness that is Crystal Man, but the soundtrack as a whole is better than MM4.

In fact, what's say you and I do a little analysis of the soundtracks of MM4 and MM5 after this and compare them? =)
