They tried to say that because the N64 had Zelda, Mario and Goldeneye (all great games), the N64 was thus a better system than the Playstation, which at that point had about 50 stellar titles. To them, 3 games that received review scores of 9.5 were better than 50 "9.3" games. Also, they claimed that NOT having a bunch of great titles meant the games lasted longer and were more interesting. Having a large library lead to people losing focus on the games they owned. :) Oh, and then there were the "cartridges are better than CDs, because if I drop my cartridge out of my second-story window or drag a rock across it, it'll still work" debates.
