It might. I tried using a 4* and a 3* Olivia. If I sent the 4* downward and the 3* upward it screwed up the pattern. When I sent the 3* downward, the pattern was close enough for me to fix. I was also using 5* Lilina as my red mage which might have also changed the enemy pattern.

I actually didn't know about his connection to Zhuge Liang. From what it can tell, his connection to Zhuge Liang is due to events outside of Fate/Zero. They are not the same person, or at least are not the same person at the time of Fate/Zero.

Largely people don't save flags until the last hour. There's no real reason to do that and you risk wasting the flags if you lose your last hour matches. There shouldn't be a large spike at the end or anything like that.

Lissa is getting more than 90% of the votes relative to Priscilla per hour. If this keeps up, the boost will never trigger since Priscilla will never be winning by enough. Lissa is not going to get another boost before the round ends.

I think you are underestimating FE7 a bit. FE7 was the original FE boom in North America and I think it did pretty well in Japan as well. As long as they aren't picking crazy fights like Lucina, they can be fairly competitive. Also remember that Ephraim beat Leo and Chrom in the first gauntlet. Awakening and Fates are strong but they don't instantly beat just anyone.

LIssa leads by 102 million. Priscilla is cutting 18 million of the lead per hour. She'll pass Lissa in about 5 hours. Priscilla isn't gaining fast enough to trigger another boost for Lissa before the match ends so Priscilla will just ride her natural strength advantage over Lissa to the end of the match.

I used 200 Flags on an early Maria boost then put down 400 on the one near the end of the day. Due to the nature of the tournament, the weaker character always gets a boost during the second hour, the stronger character always gets a boost on the third hour and the weaker character usually gets a second boost during the fourth hour. Both sides might get yet another boost during the fifth and sixth hours. The exception is if both characters are closer than 58-42 in strength. No one gets a boost if that happens. The timing is perfect if you live in Japan. These boost largely happen overnight for North America.

I think Team Maria is full of players trying to game the system. Maria actually got more points from her boost power than Lachesis did with a slightly stronger boost power. I think we still might be a few hours away from Maria's next boost period.

I didn't realize that. I wasn't really looking at trying to get Chemist materials until after I actually got Chemist which was at the end of World 1.

I completed my Thief, Time Mage, Bard and Chemist run. I Death Potioned my way past Twin Tania and Necrofobia's barriers. Against Exdeath, I used Life Shield, Giant Drink and Protect Drink to wall myself in while I sang my team to 99 Speed, Strength and Magic. Between the magic lamp, Chicken Knife and broken Thunder Rods, I don't think Neo Exdeath ever attacked me. This team really destroys bosses when it gets going and due to Thief class I barely fought any random encounters starting from around halfway into World 2. I ended the game at Lv29 but I'm pretty sure I could have went a fair bit lower pretty easily.

I beat Shinryuu as well. I used Bacchus' Wine for Berserk and just beat him down with a Chicken Knife while spamming Phoenix Down. When I found time, I lowered Shinryuu's defense with Split Shell and buffed my Chicken Knife user with Dragon Power via Quick + Mix.

This was my first time using Thief. There really isn't a whole lot of things worth stealing. The Genji equipment is probably pretty good but I didn't have anyone to use it. I was mostly just stealing material for Chemist mixing and even that was mostly done halfway into the Cleft of Dimension. Being able to run in dungeons, no back attacks, passages and an Escape command still made Thief pretty useful for support.

This was my first time using Bard. Bard helped a lot with random encounters. Love Song largely meant the enemies just sat around doing nothing. Speed Song let me eventually run circles around bosses.

The was also my first time using Chemist. I never realized just how rare Dark Matter, Turtle Shells and Dragon Fangs were until now. I always felt like I needed to save them so it wasn't really until they became easily farmable in the Cleft of Dimension that I really started using Mix. It was mostly just Death Potions until then. It also kinda felt like most bosses just weren't threatening enough to bother with a Chemist setup. It was mostly just Shinryuu, Omega and Neo Exdeath that I felt it was really worth trying to set up my team with Chemist buffs.

Split Shell is a Chemist skill through Mix. It uses Turtle Shell plus Antidote and cuts the enemy's defense in half so I can actually damage Omega. It might have a different name in a different translation.

I managed to beat Omega for the first time in a FJF. I locked him down with two characters using Love Song. I lowered Omega's defense twice with Split Shell. After that, I just beat on him 26 times with a Chicken Knife.
