Like a comic book and a cartoon based on that comic. Did you understand that they weren't telling the story of the same character but were in different continuities or did you try to rationalize everything as a single universe?

Personally I tended to think of everything as one homogeneous universe when something was part of the same brand but different media, which often made reconciling them very hard to do, looking back.

IMO if I ever felt like my child got rejected for a job for having a weird name, I would legally get it changed for them.

There's some interesting things you could do.

Like the North surrendering during the Civil War but then later on secretly funneling money and weapons to slaves in the South in order to spark a rebellion down the line. Then the North assists with an invasion of the South once the rebellion begins and takes it back.

I thought I was pretty tech savvy but today I went to the store to buy a new ethernet cable and found out they have these new ribbon ethernet cables that handle up to Gigabit speeds and its just crazy to see how fast they come out with new shit.
Y'know?

Gigabit ethernet is based on twisted pair tech, which has been around forever. You just need Cat5e cables to support it.

10G ethernet, on the other hand, I think is something that is still burgeoning in the consumer market.

Their president wants to change the constitution and they think it's going to shift to a more dictatorial government as a result. There have been several raucous protests against this and apparently about 1000 people have died as a result of conflicts with the state police.

It all comes down to having a plan.

If you want to withdraw from school, all the power to you, but don't do it and just think everything will fall into place afterwards.

Continuing your education later should be a consideration (even if it's not college, just trade school, but learn a skill that you can make a living on regardless). It opens up a lot of opportunities to jobs that won't look at you without the certification of graduating from something.
