Prisma Ilya's a pretty fun show! Has some nice slice of life and cool fights. Decent amount of fanservice too, but it doesn't go crazy with it or anything. Don't forget, LtM hasn't actually watched the show, and he's the guy who quit anime for years because he hated Madoka so much (despite not watching it).

This battle interface is super sleek, especially the post-battle stuff. It's also weird that I'm fighting against enemies that look like Personas from previous games, as well as the fact that they actually talk during battle. I'm guessing there's a reason behind that, but I'll find out later, I suppose.

This is basically just the system that other Shin Megami Tensei games have. This is our first time seeing it in Persona though (first time since 2 anyway).

dude, there are going to be new forms of a ton of servants. Archer, Arturia, Jeanne, Gilgamesh, and a bunch of others all get different versions later on. Hell, Arturia gets like 4 or 5...

Also pretty sure Lancer Liz is better than Halloween Liz, though I could be mistaken.

There's a good number of alternate versions of characters in the game. And yeah, some events give out Servants you don't have to roll for, which is cool. Some of them are actually pretty good! I saw someone posted a video or something beating the most recent event challenges using only guaranteed Servants from events + Mash to show how you don't need to roll for the best.

Do the Ys games get more interesting or better later on? I played Oath in Felgana and was kinda disappointed by how plain it was. Story was kinda nothing and the gameplay wasn't the best.

Probably a Saint Quartz from each of them. Plus you have to do the first Interlude to do the second, I think (which is usually where the powerups are?).

She only needs Pieces and Monuments, which are relatively farmable at this point. Still took a fair amount of effort, but it's not ridiculous or impossible like some current Servants are.

It'll definitely help. Highly recommend it. Won't make a huge difference all the time or anything, but there's some things it makes better.

btw, if anyone's thinking about checking out the First Order movie, it's actually pretty cool. A little expedition heavy and they go with the male protagonist (ew) but they condense the good parts of Fuyuki into a fun little experience with some cool fights. Cu really gets to shine.

Watched a couple animes.

Frame Arms Girl was fun, but a bit disappointing. I was expecting something cute and silly with lots of fun every episode, which is mostly what I got, but then the Materia sisters were introduced and became major characters, and they're just lame. Most of the jokes(?) with them weren't funny at all, and they kinda spoiled the fun mood all the other characters had. Even the villain of the series was more fun than them. It also focused more on battles than I expected, but that wasn't a bad thing, since most of the fights were actually pretty cool. The relationships between all the characters were solid. I actually thought the series should've had more fanservice though, since the fanservice in episode 1 was pretty fun. Should've made it so you could see the panties of all the girls too (this is the first shot in the OP every episode: http://puu.sh/wJ6Zv/93b8947dfd.jpg ). Mostly nice overall.

Fate/Grand Order: First Order surpassed my expectations pretty hard. I saw it got a pretty low score on MAL (where Fate stuff mostly gets high scores), and no one really talked about it, so I didn't think it'd be very good. It does have issues: there's some really heavy exposition, the MC is basically a cipher, and of course, it's only the first part of the story. But the MC isn't that important, I can handle exposition, and the last isn't that big a deal. It feels like some really cool fanservice from Nasu, where a bunch of the F/SN Servants fight as different classes, and there are some fun new characters too. It's impossible for Lancer fighting Archer to get old, random Shinji appearance was top tier, and the other Servants were cool too. Very nice fights in general, and I even liked the story! Would be really great for the rest of FGO to get adapted into anime like this, though it's been long enough since FO came out that I dunno if it'll actually happen. Still, Fate anime is a big thing right now, so you never know.

Not sure if you realize, but Serpent's Jewel and Dragon's Reverse Scale only appear in tomorrow's event quests. Looks like the Fang is in both? Reverse Scale only appears on Advanced, so I'd probably go for that if I were you.

One thing you can do is pay attention to who drops what item from what type of chest. You can check what you've gotten in battle so far by clicking on your character, so you can tell what the regular/silver/gold chests drop from each enemy. If the enemy you want appears more in one difficulty than the others, you can focus more on that one. Advanced is typically always going to be the best overall though.

Boosting a level 1 or level 50 character's attack/HP by 500-1000 has more of an impact than boosting a level 90 character's attack/HP does.

Why not use Fous? They have more impact earlier than later.

Anyway, overall thoughts on Tsuki ga Kirei. Akane was pretty solid, but nothing really special. I liked that she had some traits that made her feel unique, and she gave off the feeling of having her own life better than most characters do. Kotarou was not so good though. He started out as this extreme tryhard that felt kinda like the MC of Flowers of Evil or something (but in a romance, which made for a hilarious contrast). That was kinda toned down as the show went on though, and he just got lamer. There's a couple times when people ask Akane what she sees in him, and she can never give an answer...because he's so worthless, I guess. I never really got why he did that practice for the parade thing either, especially since he never seemed that into it. I loved when that Editor burned him so hard though. Highlight of the show was the post-credits skits. They were usually pretty funny, and they were pretty unique. Miu too OP. Still too bad she wasn't the MC.

Was annoyed at the ending because basically everything was pointing towards them breaking up, and the show felt like it was trying to be realistic in general. Even had him (rightfully) fail to get into the school he had no chance at getting into! Then it just skips through everything and has them get married? WTF? If you're going to have them stay together at least show how they're different from every failed long distance relationship out there.
