We reach Dueling Peaks Tower! It's majestic, but I'm unable to figure out the Shrine Locator, which is a bummer.

The next time you find a new shrine, try playing around with the Sensor before activating the shrine. Try moving in different directions relative to the shrine and see how the Sensor reacts.

I'm not really sure how previous Oracle Challenges have handled trying to cover second place going into the final round. I've never been anywhere near to top during the last few rounds so I've never really paid much attention. I can definitely consider taking predicting in private for special cases if I'm running the contest next time.

FF6 spoilers

At the end of the game, you destroy the statues which are the source of all magic. Magic isn't sealed away, it's gone. The Esper World isn't cut off from the normal world. I don't think they really said what happened to the Esper World, but last we saw, Espers broke the seal and came into the normal world. All the Espers are gone as well. Their existance relied on the magic statues. That was why it was a big deal regarding what would happen to the half-Esper Terra.

I mean, for a sequel they can just make up a reason why magic is back. But from what we know about the original game, magic should be gone.

I think it was implied that The Guardian was defeated and possibly killed. I think his glasses were seen broken and on the floor in the second last episode.

It's actually not even close to a record. Sephiroth had 76.51% of the brackets picking him to win the villains contest. Since we already had several character battles at that point, everyone knew that Sephiroth was the strongest.

That might not be that far from the truth. 1994 is a bit more top heavy but 2001 is a deeper year. But both 1994 and 2001 have a strong Nintendo as one of their anchors and they are trying to challenge OoT. As a result, it's hard to say how much SFF might affect this if at all. Like if FF7 trashed FF10's strength, I'm not sure 2001 beats 1997 even with the picture imbalance.

Chrono Trigger's matches were largely a day or two before the Undertale match of the same round. CT's matches should largely be free of Undertale spillover votes. The SSBM rally really kicked off when CT was directly facing SSBM. It did the exact opposite of help. Rally spillover wouldn't really help CT anyways. There are no other large sites that like CT as much as GameFAQs does.

I think Pokemon Go made it clear that there is still a huge RBY fanbase out there so it's definitely not a universal opinion among Pokemon fans. I suspect it's due to jealousy regarding RBY's popularity and how that popularity leads to RBY Pokemon getting special treatment a lot of the time in newer games.
