Okay but what kind of Jalapeno poppers, because sometimes I can only find the cream cheese filled variety.

Also I tried that ghost pepper sauce at Wendy's and it gave me horrible stomach discomfort.

Ok. Noticing a LOT of low scores, and I know for a fact @MegaButterfree is trolling with his number.

So I'll take this topic a little more seriously.

Do you guys know how to rate yourselves?

You can't compare yourselves to dream boats like Channing Tatum and Ryan Gosling because a large portion of there beauty is artificial i.e. makeup/plastic surgery.

And, don't step outside of your race while rating yourself either.(And others) If you're white, think of the most attractive white you can think of and why you feel that way and work your way to you. Same apply for all races.
.

I'm probably underrating myself, but that's partly modesty and mostly because I'm extremely short. It's just such a deal-breaker - being only 5'5" has to put me in the bottom 5% (1%?) of guys, and is a turn-off to 95% of girls. Regardless of good grooming, good clothing, good smelling, good body, there's really nothing that can overcome it.

I mean, how often do you see ugly tall guys with hot girlfriends? I see it every day.

Max Payne because there's a really horrible sequence where you need to be super precise on platforms and the controls are awful.

Red Faction, because the story didn't do much for me and it felt like I was playing the whole game in the dark.

I almost forgot this game existed, because I must have played it almost 20 years ago or whenever it came out. It was pretty fun. Sort of like Ratchet & Clank but as a bumble bee.

If I were to play it now, I'm not sure what to expect in terms of it aging well, though.

4/10, but I can improve to a 6/10 if I get ready properly.

My biggest flaws are being five foot five, bad teeth, and having too big of a nose. And a slight uni-brow. I'm not fat, but I'm also not particularly in shape either.

I make up for it by wearing semi-nice shoes since people are looking downward anyways. I usually grow sideburns, although occasionally I do a goatee/sideburns combo. Don't usually go clean shaven even though it makes me looks younger. I try to imagine myself like the guy in the shaving commercials, but I don't have the perfect smile to pull it off. I've settled on the "wolverine" look with the spike-wave hair.

My opinion on this is a little biased, because I work as a cook in a busy sit down restaurant. Servers are constantly complaining about their tips... acting greedy, spoiled, entitled, you name it. And yet, even on their worst night, they are still going to get paid more than me. All while sitting down reading the newspaper, doing a crossword puzzle, watching videos on their phone, taking a dozen smoke breaks, etc.

Meanwhile, if I stop working for even a minute, my boss will chime in and ask me what I'm doing. Watches everyone like a hawk, it seems like. And when it's busy, I need to hustle. I take passion in making a dish that looks as good as I can make it under the time constraints (most of the other cooks don't care about that). However, I don't get paid extra for putting more effort into making presentable food. I just do it, because that's what I would want to see as a customer. I think about how much money they are spending, and try to make them feel like I made it special just for them. Even though I will never see or talk to them. The purpose of a restaurant is to give customers a satisfying dining experience. However, sometimes it seems like its actual purpose is to save as much money as possible by being cheap. The flaw in that logic is you lose money by driving away customers with crappy food. But I digress....

However, I do tip 99% of the time, and try to give at least 15%. The problem is, I feel like I very rarely get good service. Most of the time it's mediocre. They do the bare minimum, often don't know anything about the food, and seem impatient. And I get the feeling that they have a bad attitude. Most of the time I tip because I enjoyed the food, and that's entirely because of the cook/ingredients.

In the case of more exotic restaurants, like Vietnamese pho, actual communication can be nearly impossible. But good places have awesome food and good portion sizes that cost the same amount of money as a McDonald's combo, so I will always tip for that reason alone.

Awesome. Thanks!

Although I was wondering, since it is a gift card, if I am supposed to enter it on income tax? It can't be redeemed for normal cash, so I'm guessing it doesn't really apply.

I should also add a couple of the first PC games that I played: Twinsen's Oddysey, and The Starship Titanic. From what I recall, they would probably be quite dull today. But this was me owning my first computer so they seemed to have awesome atmosphere. The latter was a complete point-and-click adventure on a ship that revolves around solving puzzles. No action at all.

I remember the former having cool music, but iffy controls.

Until this contest, I thought I was the only one that played The Guardian Legend. That game was so good, like a futuristic Zelda combined with shooting stages.

Also, a couple other NES game: Cobra Triangle and Tiger-Heli.

I'm really surprised at how many brackets were not prize brackets. I've never won anything before despite entering almost every contest, so I'm thrilled! Too bad I didn't put a lot of thought into the tie-breaker, had no idea how important it would end up being.

Congrats to the winner though, and all those people initially ranked out of the top 10 that ended up winning a prize! Must feel good.

When is the winner and actual final standings usually announced (I honestly can't remember). The top 6 all have the same score and the remaining 4 are tied as well, so the tiebreakers are going to shuffle them all around I would assume.

I somewhat read these, but it's mostly due to a lack of free time. But still, I agree it's hard to muster up a lot of passion for individual years. However, it seemed like an eternity since the last contest so I'm mostly just glad we still get something. The only drama was on picture inconsistency for a handful of matches. Seemed kind of rushed, honestly. On a positive note, scrolling pictures were a new thing. I'm not sure if it would be better or worse if they were used in a more traditional character/game contest.

2006/2011 was my only miss. Other than that, I was extremely lucky with the picture advantage going in my favour. But I mean, the whole contest felt like a crapshoot because the pictures play a huge role in reminding people what each year had going for them. Without even knowing what the picture format was going to be, some matches were really a shot in the dark. For example, 1996/2000 was excruciating and I just had to hope 1996 screamed the debut of the N64 and Super Mario 64 starting the era of 3D Nintendo games.

Wow, I figured 2001 had a chance if 1997 received a worse picture, but I didn't think it would actually happen. Still holding my breath though, 23 more hours left. I'm wondering what the split is for this match among the 9 51-point brackets.

I created my bracket the day before the contest started so I was expecting to flame out early. My tie-breaker stinks, though.

Man, what a thrashing. I was making headway in the top 50 too, but I don't see 2001 beating 1997 now. This picture really hits home how good 1997 was. I was banking on nostalgia for Super Mario 64 and the N64 being released to make it look stronger than it should be based on it's list of releases.

Maybe if 2001 gets the best possible picture and 1997 gets a worse picture than this round, then it's close.

Having to poop gives me an excuse to take a break at work, and I'm pretty sure over the course of a year you're going to spend like two days in the bathroom. Good luck with that. And continuous pooping over such a long period of time is more than likely to cause discomfort. I mean, eating crappy food can already do that to you on a normal bowel movement.
