Too many pets. I'm tired of it... I'm tired of outliving loved ones at all (but I'm not gonna give up the pets I still have just because of that)

I've already got most of my favorite Disney movies on DVD anyway.

Although if they include Wander Over Yonder, I would pay for the service JUST FOR THAT SPECIFIC SHOW. Actually, if enough people do that, and tell Disney that's the sole reason they're paying, maybe that'll help the show get the 3rd season it deserves...

I don't see the problem; kids that young like to pretend to be dogs anyway. So present the leash like it's part of their game.

Kid grows up to be a furry? Good; that's where the money is if they're an artist.

How big a spider are we talking? A tarantula? Because in that case, I guess I conveniently have a new pet!

Absolutely devastated because 10 years would mean at least two of my pets would've died while I was out.

My job doesn't even have direct deposit yet because they're only just now starting to break out of the stone age, so yeah, I still get physical checks.

They're always pretty much the same every time, and I feel sorry for all the animals they freak out.

Most people would agree a pet in this sort of situation should be euthanized. There's no reason for it to be different with a kid.

This is what happens when you disregard the concepts of both gun control and respect for wildlife that's not even doing anything to you.

All I look for is, in order of priority: clean-looking toilet, toilet paper, and locking door.

I don't make enough money to be able to just give any away without getting something in return that I want or need. "But you do get something in return, the good feeling of having helped people in need!" Maybe, but I get that anyway from buying things from indie artists, and most importantly, taking care of my pets who WILL DIE if money is not spent on food and vet care for them.

Very, very worried. Specifically about the fact that if the world doesn't end in (or before) August, I'll probably once again get stuck working at the state fair and fighting with broken ticket scanners and bratty horse trainers who think they're above the rules, and I need the money, but my mental health is already shot too badly to even think about being able to handle that kind of hell again (and I wouldn't be surprised if it's caused some kind of permanent damage to my feet, too).

Is it treated largely like it's the best thing ever, to the point that people can't even comprehend the fact that not everyone is interested in it, and even think that being uninterested automatically means a person is sick even though it's completely unnecessary for the survival of an individual? Yes? Then it is indeed overrated. I don't understand how this is even a question.

My pets' lives are always, 100% of the time, worth more to me than the lives of most people. In the case of people I care about, well, I can't play favorites based on species.

Three grandparents, and also a dog and a budgie :(

Sure, if I needed a life-saving operation. Literally nothing to lose in that case. Or an absolutely immediate need to move out of the country (possibly as a result of impossible-to-afford health care). Or just anytime I feel like I want to die because I can't afford to live.
