I got my degree in physics and that's pretty much standard with Griffiths.

We would always get a week to finish a homework set. Would be a few questions and I don't think I was ever able to finish in just 1 or 2 sittings. Though most people would just wait till the TA had office hours in the physics study room and they'd all work together.

only thing is to make sure your power supply can supply enough wattage to whatever new GPU you're going to buy.

If you currently have an Nvidia card and are buying another Nvidia card, no need to worry about drivers. They're universal so you don't need to uninstall anything.

If you're going to upgrade more than just your GPU, I recommend using www.pcpartpicker.com and making a build of everything you currently have and swap then swap whatever component you're going to upgrade. It should only give you a list of what's compatible to choose from.

I worked as a dispatcher part time while I was in college.

There were rarely ever 911 calls and most were just 'accidents' when people hit the emergency buttons on campus. Other times people will be too scared to call 911 so they call a non emergency line. I remember one time a guy called because the sprinklers wouldn't shut off.

Most of the time the dispatchers are probably just watching something on Netflix, but they also have to handle many other radio channels at the same time so it can either be really busy or be completely dead.
