"I just want to be friends" generally means "I'm not attracted to you, but I can't tell you that because guys lose their f***ing minds when they get rejected. Please don't threaten, harm or insult me, and back away slowly."

Not gonna lie, I do lose my mind when I get rejected

I get rejected a lot, can you blame me

You're never getting any from a single one of the women who put you in the friend zone, you decide if that's good or bad.

Ohh I was hoping I could try to get back with them. One woman even said she doesn't want to be in a relationship at this time.

Honestly, I'm not the most attractive guy in the world. Whenever I go on a date with a girl, it never gets past the first date. They always say something like "we can be friends if you want, I have a ton of them"

So, I'm not dating anyone but I have a lot of girl friends. They seem reluctant to talk to me, but whatever

Is this good or bad?

I don't even hate the job otherwise, there's just one thing that really bothers me.

My manager is an ok guy. I've been with the company for 2 months so far, and he is helpful and accommodating. My issue is with my boss, who is the head of the department I'm in.

He has a short temper. Literally an on and off switch, and he actually yells out of the top of his lungs. Actually screaming. Its never warranted either. One guy was yelled at because he asked him a question.

It feels stupid leaving a job because of one person. There are other managers that give us poor treatment as well, but I would otherwise overlook it if it weren't for my boss. He gives the place a bad atmosphere, and I directly report to him so its not like I can avoid him.

Do you have anything lined up TC, because if the manager is doing this, then that's a problem

It's my boss.
My direct manager is fine. He manages a few people, including me.
My boss is the one with the issue. He overseas everything in the department. He is the head of this department

No, I don't have anything lined up. I'm not dating I'm gonna quit tomorrow. I'm going to apply for some jobs first.

I don't want to get a guy fired because I have a complaint. His other employees might be ok with it. Plus he has been with the company for over 30 years.

False.

HR is only concerned with the company and will build a case to fire TC in order to protect the company.

Even of that were true, I wouldn't want to work for a company that has practices like that.

yanksfan4247 posted...
Your problem is TC that you allowed this shit to happen for so long. The first time any coworker/boss/superior yells or screams at you, you just keep it moving for that time.

Then later in the day you tell them "I understand you were frustrated and all that, but you aren't my mother or father. Treat me with respect because I'm not screaming or yelling at you like a child."

I've said this two times in two separate jobs. Never got fired for saying it.

1. He hasn't yelled at me yet. He has yelled at other employees. I have gotten lucky so far.
2. I've only been with the company for 2 months. Not enough time to say anything really.

...they really need to fix the disappearing glitch.

A couple times, I was having a great conversation with a girl, I almost get a phone number or date, and then the conversation disappears from my inbox.

One girl actually did give me her number. She didn't reply when I texted her, but she did tell me she was having phone issues. So I'll wait for her. Our conversation on Tinder disappeared as well.

Another girl I was so close. We setup a date and location. The only thing we were missing was the time. Then boom, the disappearing glitch occurs.

This is getting annoying. If Tinder wants you to be successful, they should allow you to actually talk to people. This is a huge glitch.

Being attractive = Treat girls however you want, you're going to land them either way.
Being unattractive = lol

Being attractive is the key factor to getting girls. Beyond that, nothing really matters. You could be the biggest loser in the world. No job, no car, no money, nothing going for you. But if you're fairly fit, and you've got a charming smile and nice hair, you're gonna be balls deep and you won't even have to work for it.

If you're not attractive, you better be ready to work your ass off to make up for it.

A few points I want to make:

- She might have been joking.
- She could take your $250 and run, then you don't get anything AND lose $250.
- This could easily be a setup, whether that means you being arrested or you being a mockery.
- She is probably not so clean herself if she's making an offer like this. Some diseases can't even be prevented with a condom. Not worth the risk.

I vote DON'T do it.

Chunkey Simmons

I'm surprised no one has brought up any of these points, so here I go:

Virtual Console for the Nintendo Switch- Part of the reason the classic edition was released in the first place was to increase awareness of the virtual console. That is why Nintendo didn't include Contra, or the first Mega Man, or Castlevania III. There's a reason there were a handful of missing games. More people were buying the NES Classic Edition and, by not discontinuing it, that could affect Switch sales. NES Classic Edition is a threat to virtual console.

Piracy - Almost everyone knew how to modify and add more games to the original 30. By looking the other way, Nintendo would have been implying that getting unauthorized copies of games is perfectly legal and okay. They could not afford that, especially with the existance of Virtual Console. It could have hurt their business.

Scalping - Due to lack of stock, a lot of people were scalping the NES Classic Edition on eBay. Nintendo didn't want to be indirectly responsible for such questionable behavior. Doesn't affect Nintendo financially at all, if anything it would help them, but it could have hurt their reputation.

Licensing - Nintendo likes having control, and doesn't enjoy teaming up with companies very often. That is why Nintendo and Sony never made their console, that is why Nintendo was reluctant on releasing games like Donkey Kong 64 to the virtual console, and this is most likely why Nintendo wanted to discontinue the NES Classic Edition. There were games from Konami, Tecmo and Capcom, and Nintendo didn't want to rely on other companies for their success.

Expensive to produce? - Although there's no concrete evidence to back this up, I'm speculating that the NES Classic Edition was expensive to produce. Why else would they be so under-stocked? This would make sense why they would discontinue it.

This is just my opinion. Let me know if you have any input, or if you agree/disagree with my opinion.
