| Topic | Movies with action scenes that aren't super fast and shaky? |
| CoinFlipBimbo 08/21/17 1:07:31 AM #1 | I noticed this about movies. They have action scenes that are too fast to keep up with, with quick cuts every second, and shaky can scenes. I don't understand this trend. It makes movies look terrible and I don't know about you but I have a hard time seeing what's happening on the screen because of it. Unfortunately I don't have any examples right now but I'm sure most people know what I'm talking about. As the topic title reads, can anyone recommend movies with very well directed and executed action scenes? Thank you. --- |

| CoinFlipBimbo 07/19/17 3:07:22 AM #1 | I haven't made a topic about my OCD in months because I've been getting treated for it. I take medication and see a therapist every week. I've come a long way since February. I'm able to do much more than I was able to at my worst. I'm still not 100%. I still need time to recover. I feel like I'm able to start working again. I have a doctor's appointment later in the week and depending on what the results are I will start looking for a job. It will help with my OCD I believe because I get so bored staying at home all day. I don't go out much because I dislike leaving the house for the most part. However I do enjoy leaving the house for at least an hour just to get some fresh air and to distract my mind a little bit. With that said, I haven't worked in months. It wasn't my choice. I worked until I couldn't, more or less. I actually planned on quitting my job sooner than I did last year but I had bills to pay so I had to keep working. I finally got the okay from my parents to quit, but I stuck around longer at my job until I was close to being fired so I had to quit. That was last year. Now my parents want me to pay rent this month. I don't have a lot of money but I'll pay just so they will leave me alone. It's not like they will kick me out or anything. I always reminded them I was going to pay all the rent that I owed. My recovery with OCD has taken longer than expected. But that's how my parents want it. To be fair, they did say I don't have to pay the full amount I used to pay for rent but I am still going to pay what I always paid just because I am too proud or whatever. This situation kind of has me thinking. I think it's a little messed up. But that's life I suppose. Luckily for me I haven't done my taxes for last year so I should get some money back from that. I am going to use that to pay rent. I just wanted to vent a little. I don't see my therapist this week because of my upcoming doctor appointment. p.s. No, my name has nothing to do with OCD behavior. It is a reference to How I Met your Mother. You can even look at the gif in the signature. --- |

And a lot of us were part-time because they don't want to give employees full-time benefits, they'd ask us if we could stay a full time shift but again, many usually said no and the managers always looked upset and sometimes begged people to stay. --- |
