Antifa, in practice, are actually worse than the average neo-Nazi, honestly. Saying hateful things is far less problematic than being violent and destructive. Not to mention they all hide behind masks and run away.

Are you drunk?

Plenty of violent neo-Nazis/white nationalists/Klan members.

And many of them wear things to conceal their faces. Especially the Klan.

What a dumb statement.

I don't know much about Antifa, but I'd hazard a guess that 4 people aren't representative of the entire group, just as every white nationalist wouldn't climb into their car and drive into a crowd of people.

For what it's worth, house arrest doesn't mean you never leave the house.

You can still go to work, appointments, do grocery shopping, take kids to school, etc.

You have to provide schedules and check in with your PO, and usually you have a curfew, but it's not as restrictive as you'd think.

Varies state to state, though.

I'd rather a game be too easy than too hard.

This, but I'd prefer a balanced challenge.

When I was younger and had more free time, I'd throw myself against all the "insane" and "hardcore" difficulties I could. Nowadays I don't have time to repeat the same stage or boss over and over, so I tend not to play anything above normal/default.

It's a pet peeve of mine when people talk on the phone while checking out. I don't even work retail, just find it rude. I'd never say anything, though. I'm sure plenty of cashiers don't mind. They probably welcome the break from the same small talk they've had all day long. (How many times a day do people talk about the weather with you, TC?)

Just rubs me the wrong way, is all. The headphones thing would annoy me, too.

I love this idea. It won't ever happen because rereleases make these companies a ton of money, but it's an awesome idea.

Avoiding sending in physical copies, it would be cool if they could recognize games that you've purchased digitally that later get a remaster or whatever and give you some sort of credit or discount for repurchase. I could see that happening before any trade-in program for physical copies, but it won't happen either lol

I like Tool, but they do have some pretentious fans

I went to see Fantomas open for Tool some years ago, and was stoked for Fantomas. During their entire set the Tool fans in the audience jeered and made comments about how weird and noisy Fantomas were. Completely killed my enthusiasm. I left like three songs into Tool's set because I was disgusted (and surprised) at how close-minded the fans were for being enthusiasts of a progressive band.

@BlanketPI

Arguments have been made that many great thinkers were only religious to avoid any social or professional ostracism inherent with being a non-believer. It was significantly more frowned upon even as recently as a couple of decades ago to claim you were atheist/agnostic. In some places/eras, you could be shunned, driven out of town or worse.

Even Richard Dawkins acknowledges he is less than 100% certain in his conviction that there exists no supernatural creator. He relies heavily on the evidence of evolution and the apparent lack of evidence of any sort of gods.

I forget how he worded it, but I know he identifies as agnostic even though most people label him the world's foremost atheist. Which makes perfect sense. There's a severe lack of evidence to support the existence of deities, but there is also no definitive proof that they don't exist. Takes almost as much faith to say "God does not exist" as it does to say the opposite.

I say "almost" primarily because atheism/agnosticism have science to support them, whereas religions just have faith and bibles.

Of course. Just because they're wrong about one thing doesn't mean they don't possess any intelligence at all. A lot of priests/rabbis/etc are very well educated. And there's plenty of devout, faithful people who are smart in other ways.

Because it's clearly based on the 90s cartoon lineup, hence Morph's inclusion.
