so you're basically looking for gimmicky boss fights?

No. I'm looking at what which bosses YOU find entertaining.

I will agree that Borderlands had entertaining bosses. They just skipped my mind because I haven't played in a while. The Souls games have pretty atmospheric bosses too. Almost completely forgot about some of the gimmick bosses in Demon's Souls. They weren't that fun.

I was just saying that bosses aren't really that interesting typically.

Back in the early 2000's-2012ish I was always curious about how Halo, TES. DMC, Pokemon etc might pan out.

These days, things are pretty typical as far as stories go and a lot of series loose ends are tied up.

Are you curious about any series? There's obvious next installments coming out but a lot of those aren't directly connected (Mario, Monster Hunter etc).

There are ways to go about policy, this is not one of them. If it's a big no-no to be sharing food, make it a rule and make it more obvious. People will share for a taste test and it won't ever be a big deal to do that.

Some genres require a bit more time and effort and not everyone has the time or desire to "git gud". A prime example would be most fighting games for me. I'm more of a Mortal Kombat fan but I'll never be able to string together combos or memorize all the moves. Too much effort.

Shooters? I can do fine on max difficulties with enough practice but online players know the map, know the best load outs etc. I just go with "whatever".

I generally like animals more and would hope that the dogs could be trained better. You can train animals to actually do their jobs as guard dogs and not bark at stupid shit all day. It's 100% the owners' faults and I feel bad that they have to go through the surgery due to laziness.

Neighbours shouldn't have to move due to something YOU brought into the situation. I'll just buy a big ass sound system and blast it all day. The neighbours should move because of me now if they don't like the sound.

What do you dislike about it? I found Skyrim's UI worse

The problem with Bethesda is that their games are getting progressively more brain dead. The RPG elements are being stripped further and further, making their games more action focused.

Oh, and they can't optimize worth a damn.

This isn't as deep as you might think.

Sex came first. The genetic code that determines biologically what male/female is. It's why some things and humans can have both parts.

Gender is more of a human structure. It's the "brain's" gender so to speak. Whatever one may feel like. They might feel more like a female because of gender roles or whatever. All this stuff came way after basics such as "You have these organs and these cells, you are male/female". All that biological life doesn't really give a shit. That's more of a human thing to label and such.

I think most games can be beaten with enough practice, maybe look up some tips if you're at a figurative wall.

Then I play things like Faster Than Light. Shit like this is way too RNG based. The player could do nothing really wrong but get destroyed easily. Anything else that is too luck heavy I consider "too difficult".

Just so I understand you fully, are you trying to say that you reach a mental wall when it comes to creating stories? Like you'll have it all planned out in your head but despite you trying for a while, it never comes out the way you thought? Or you're simply not able ot express any of it? Try to tell me about this wall if you can.

Almost like having a great drawing in your mind but not being able to transfer it to paper.

I don't want to parrot stuff you've probably heard. Just try to explain your problem a bit more so we can give better advice.

I'd say it's not all necessarily repetition that improves skill. I feel one needs to observe others. People have a few ways of learning. Some need to do, some need to watch and some need to be told things.

I have the PC version and I'm just finishing up the early Cerberus/dog head puzzle.

It feels like the formula will be Video > Puzzle > Fight > Escape house

I know you can simplify any game really but this doesn't really feel like Resident Evil. It feels like a random horror game with somewhat interesting characters and plot.

I don't know, not a lot is really happening, hopefully the story picks up. I guess I expected more traditional enemies too rather than bosses solely.

You have to 100% complete stuff like Atari E.T, crappy SNES games, Superman 64...
