The first time I had sushi, it was prepared by Latino cooks at a "Chinese" buffet owned by Pakistanis. I wrote a paper about the experience for a fifth grade writing assignment and my teacher thought it was a humorous take on cultural diffusion. I legitimately did not know about its Japanese origins <_<

5 or 6 years ago, this bi, possibly gay guy got pretty creepy and predatory with me at a party. He kept telling me I was the sexiest man in the room and offered me a handjob in the bathroom. The keg was in the backyard, so I went out there to refill my cup. He came up behind me, put his arms around me as I was pumping the keg, and started singing the Ghost song in Spanish (I think).

I asked him to stop a bunch of times and eventually told my friend who was throwing the party that the dude was pissing me off, so she made him leave.

I've started writing again and am working on a sci-fi series but I really can't seem to complete anything. I will create boundaries and try to limit myself but somehow end up blowing past them. It's not really a problem with verbosity or perfectionism, or anything else negative, because it has really helped to add depth to the universe I'm creating. Everything I've written has a place and a purpose, as well as flows nicely. I'm happy with the work but can't stop expanding on everything. One idea leads to another and what started out as an opening paragraph has instead become a small book itself. It's just getting out of control on the level of sheer quantity and moves the finish line further and further away, which has become a bit discouraging.

I may actually take this up as a way to practice implementing and respecting limits. I have several other ideas that I haven't really gotten into because of the focus on my passion project. I'm not as invested in them, so maybe putting that on the back burner to crank one of those out will help. I wrote out a good chunk of my next favorite story on a whim while I was holed up in a hospital with a relative, so I think I could probably get one of the other ones done in a month. Funny how the less I care about the work the better I am at getting it done lol.

Does that make any sense? It's late and I'm tired, so I may be rambling lol.

I'm talking about the odor from poor or no hygiene that nerds, geeks, gamers, etc. are associated with. It's the kind of death funk that can only be obtained by going days, maybe weeks, without showering, using deodorant, changing your clothes frequently, or proper wiping. Poor diet and being overweight usually contribute.

Sam Adams hasn't been craft/micro in a long time now and kind of did themselves in with their success. They showed there could be an alternative to Bud/Miller/Coors and paved the way for literally thousands of new breweries to come in. The people who will shun BMC in favor of Sam Adams are also people who are more likely to support their local brews, of which there are now more than ever.

I'm wondering what kind of studies have been done on children and smart phones. We know that too much TV, even educational TV, is detrimental to children and it seems like a smart phone would be at least as bad.

The first season was like, -3/10. Season 2 was about a 5. This season is a 3.5. Hopefully the deal with Walker is over. Did not enjoy these last few episodes very much.
