Most of the examples that you losers cite in these topics tend to be a case of seeing things from your own comfortable perspective i.e. sitting on a couch with popcorn stuffed in your fat face instead of the perspective of the character.

You can have characters that act in an internally inconsistent or stupid manner. Similarly, that coincidental idiocy is often used to contrive plot points forward. Not really the same thing at all.

i don't mean like comedy shows or anything btw, just 'dramatic' media where the driving force of the narrative appears to be people putting logic aside whenever they decide to do something. it really ruins stuff imo.

off the top of my head:

- Dawn of the Planet of the Apes was really bad for this imo which was a pity because I really liked Rise
- The Walking Dead has a lot of this

kinda feel like playing one since I haven't done so since B/W 1.

not really interested in B/W 2 or X/Y but if they're actually the best I might be convinced otherwise...

that leaves HG/SS (might be hard to get and kinda looks like a D/P mod anyway lol), OR/AS (i really liked the original gen 3 so might be cool) and S/M (these are meant to be really good and they look cool too tbf).

also could wait til US/UM but they're not out for ages by my count.
