You can still debate his merits and qualifications, same as you debate the merits of a bill.

That debate was actively squashed by the Republicans. Just like you're complaining that debate on the ACA was squashed by the Democrats.

You don't get it both ways.

I mean my thing is that our health care system was fine before Obamacare. I guess it's an untenable position to hold now though, since the Dems did a great job of convincing the country that no one was happy before 2009.

Obamacare was not amended based on the discussions/concerns of various organizations. I imagine this bill will be much more malleable, which is a good thing.

Are we sure he isn't suggesting that the only way to appease everyone would be to construct unisex bathrooms? That conclusion actually is spot on.

"Trans bathrooms" would be misleading since, as I mentioned, cisgendered people wouldn't be forbidden.

Note: please congratulate me for using "cis" instead of "normal" out of respect for Inviso. It was very big of me.

When someone says "trans bathrooms" it's obviously about the current events involving trans people and bathrooms. Not a third f***ing bathroom. Those are called unisex bathrooms. It's not like cis people would be barred from using them. >_>

Has anyone actually seen both ends of that spectrum in NY? I certainly have. You can live in a luxury high rise only if you're very rich or very poor. The welfare state here has ensured that they both live the same lifestyle.
