PS4 definitely has the exclusives.

But thats what makes my PS4 the "exclusives" console, and my xbox my "multiplats and thus MAIN gaming console"

It also helps that my xbox is newer, runs better, and has a better UI.

Doesn't your system have some kind of sticker blocking a screw indicating that you void the warranty by removing it? My PS2 had one, and I think my PS3 has one.

No sticker, and Im not even sure if it voided the warranty, thats just what I was told when it happened.

By the time Id done this, It was 4 months into what I htought was a 90 day warranty. Jesus, keep up. If you want to win this internet pissing contest of telling people they should know better for no apparent reason other than to feel good about yourself, at least pay attention.

As per usual, faulty hardware is fairly uncommon.

Also, without knowing anything about you or any details of your situation, it could very well have been that you just broke your PS4 through improper care/use.

I apparently did the stupid thing of asking someone and not researching myself. They told me it was a 90 day warranty. This entire time I thought it was. Also got told what I did voided the warranty. TBH I've never once had a defective product that needed to be shipped to fix in my entire life. Kind of a foreign concept to me. "In my day things were just made right to begin with" All my consoles still work. Gameboy, NES, you name it, and I didnt treat them well by any means. My PS4 got the fucking royal treatment.

This topic is not to point the finger at sony, or me, its at MY ps4, the one sitting in my room taunting me like a douche with its beeping and constant whirrrrrrrr ya piece of shit

Got a PS4 when Bloodborne came out, I love Dark souls and that was my reason to choose Sony first for this gen.

After that game, which I didn't finish BTW (not a jab at the game, more at me), I haven't played a single PS4 exclusive.

Since then my PS4 has been nothing but a piece of trash that makes me wonder how the fuck it even got the go ahead to be a console.

The sensor that detects discs is broken. It broke about 4 months in. It spits discs out. I found a fix which involves using a tiny screw driver and taking the HD cover off, but that only worked for a year. The tiny screw is now stripped.

So to get a game to play, I now have to:

Restart my PS4

Immediately throw the disc in, as it starts up

Hold the PS4 at an angle while I screw the tiny screw

Hope to god it works

Ever since this problem lost the easy(er) fix, I download only. Nothing like playing Dark Souls 3, about to beat an invader and POOF disc gets spit out TOO BAD FOR YOU NOW YOU GET SPAM SAYING YOU DISCONNECTED AWESOME

Then sony decides to do pointless update #16493. It fucks over my router, as in, "What router? You have a router? Well I'm a PS4, I would know, and I dont see you have any network whatsoever!" Now I need to set it up manually every fucking time I turn the thing on, because it all of a sudden doesnt like my router. Thats if it even SEES my router. SO I have to restart the router, restart the system, etc.

Now imagine Im playing an online game ive got everything going the way it should, then disc spits out, I restart PS4, now I cant connect online, go to set up manually in the mean time disc spits out, get disc to work, no online because the wifi diasppeared ETC ETC. Spend more time fixing then I do playing....

Meanwhile my FUCKING XBOX recognizes BOTH the regular 2.4 ghz connection AND THE FUCKING 5GHZ CONNECTION IMAGINE THAT.

Did I mention the PS4 spits discs out even when there isnt one in it? Yep. I hear "BEEP" "WHIRRRR" over, and over, and over until i either shut it off or "fix" it. I could be playing something off the hard drive or just watching Netflix and BEEP WHIRRRRR BEEP WHIRRRR

Yep, I know. Its all my fault right? Fucking PS4 is only human, dont be so mean! Right? RIGHT?! STFU fanboys! I love sony too but that particular model, whichever it is IDK, is TRASH

I mean who the fuck thought it was acceptable to not have a 5ghz wifi connection on a suppsed online gaming console??? Cheapskate morons....

When I was young I got into anime and manga and japanese culture. I thought anything to do with japan was sooo cool.

It was the time when the internet was blossoming. As I learned more and more... I gained and lost respect for the culture. Every culture has an ugly side. But one of the things so ingrained there is just disgusting, is lolis.

The thing people dont understand is that lolis dont stop in japanese media with just anime/manga.

There are swimsuit model/panty magazines with children posing in them for sale.

Its kids parents bringing them to these shoots..... wonder what kind of dads they have? The kind that read the magazines and know which ones to be in? Fucking disgusting that seemingly no one bats an eye to this practice.

I will say, its been a while since I looked into this subject, as its not something I like to think about or focus on. Just one of those dark things you find out about that breaks your perception of something forever. Things may have changed, I vaguely remember hearing about legislation about lolis in anime/manga, but I doubt it.

And fathers day, veterans day, fad holidays like womens day or siblings day yada yada yada. You can probably guess, I'm single and have been for a long time. No kids. Just a lot of other people I have to take care of and recognize every year.

Year after year I go to weddings, kids birthday parties, then theres mom/dads day and parent/sibling sbirthdays..... all the while wishing everyone so much happiness.

It just feels like month after month after month (year after year) I'm buying or celebrating shit for other people. My birthday comes and goes, but society doesnt pressure people into wishing me a happy birthday. Its optional.

I have to kiss ass on those holidays.

There are so many people who have these days of recognition, where the whole country is expected to pay tribute, but they just dont deserve it.

I've been helping take care of my younger sister my entire life. I am a mom and a dad..... but I dont get recognition. I'm a decent person. Most of my free time is spent helping friends/family/coworkers.

I guess I'm just a whiny ungrateful bitch right? I already wished *MY* mom a happy Mothers Day and I'm taking her out soon. The rest of the Mothers of the world (ok america because IIRC no one else celbrates this asinine holiday) can fuck right the fuck off, I dont owe you SHIT and I am fed up with pretending like I respect you for getting fucked and pooping out a baby.

I used to think this way. Here's a book on why I no longer do:

Im a pizza delivery driver. My car makes me money. Quite a lot for what I do, all things considered (average $25+ an hour for driving around and listening to tunes, and the cost of living here is low, even with car costs factored in).

All my cars were $200-$3k shitboxes bought outright, in cash. I became a delivery driver with a small investment in a shit car. Made little over minimum wage before that (was at rock bottom), scraped, saved and created an opportunity for myself with a shitbox car.

But I had to fix something every 3-4 weeks. Longest I'd go with no maintenance is about 6 weeks. I drive A LOT, sometimes going back for minor fixes (the most RANDOM shit) once a week for weeks on end. I was scraping by (eventually managed some decent savings) but it was a lot to deal with. The cost was that of paying a loan, and I was going out of my way constantly, missing shifts and spending extra money that I couldn't foresee. The car and the job was my savior and my curse.

Then, when staring at a $600 fix, I said "fuck this" and instead bought an $11.5k preowned sedan with a terrible loan at 26% interest. Also got an extended warranty for 3k which covers almost everything in the engine. little under 15k all in all.

I've had to bring it in to get fixed three times. Twice it was covered by warranty. Last time cost me about $120. 3 times in 10 months vs every 6 weeks is around a third of the amount of maintenance in a year, of which I only paid $120 vs a few thousand.

Started working more because I could, because of the car. I now had more money. I started to go out more. Because of the increase of social life, because of money, because of a car, I got noticed by a rival pizza joint (no joke) and got traded/jumped ship. New job, more business, I now average $10 MORE per hour. I found I had... a ridiculous amount more of money left at the end of the month. It went into the loan. I am now comfortable as shit.

I bought the beast at the end of May 2016. I paid it off completely 3 weeks ago. Didn't bother refinancing because.... complications with proving my wages (the initial loan was a friend at a dealership hooking me up, a few thousand down helped too, but at the new job I couldn't prove I made SHIT for money - would actually seem as LESS and I'd be lying my ass off even more than I already did).

Now, because of this car I:

Make more money because its more reliable
Spend less in the long run because there are little repairs
Spend less on gas as its more economical than a shitbox
Look like a professional/adult that can take care of themselves and not a bum living out of a car from last century
Listen to a very nice stock system (was pleasantly surprised) with bluetooth and jam out to the latest albums with wind in my hair all day - also it's my job
Upped my credit a little

Its the single greatest thing I have ever done with my money. My life has done a complete 180 since buying that thing. It wasn't even the car that changed things, it was me refusing to listen to idiots. The kind who avoid something nice because of phrases like "depreciating asset" as if it's written in stone that that is just how things are. Or the kind who think never ending debt through always paying interest on a brand new car is better than the "depreciating value" of just driving the thing into the ground. Gee, I wonder who spreads those ideas? The people that benefit from it the most maybe? Truth is it doesnt matter either way, only that one way benefits banks and one does not. At least my car is an actual indication of wealth (paid). Not a representation of my debt.

Cars costing too much arent your problem, It's your ideology. It's the exact same reasoning people who are resigned to be on welfare forever have, have no concept of riskvs reward, just reward w/no risk

For crap jobs anyone can do, don't worry about it and don't list the "hoppiest" ones. No one cares if you worked at a gas station, a deli and a McDs in one month. They dont even need to know.

TBQH, and I know NOTHING about this one as I have no college experience, I'd imagine that hopping between jobs that use your degree would probably look good in a sense.

If you're moving too much between managment positions, simply display the qualities of a person who is "looking for the right fit" AKA IM hiring YOU to employ ME. This has worked for me everytime.

I also try to come off as someone who subconsciously lets everyone around them know that I am well taken care of, to the point where I can shop around for a job because im just that responsible with money that I can be unemployed for a period of time.
