I wish there was a way to refine the good from the bad, but who judges it? In piping systems, there are so many opportunities for leaks and there are often downtimes for repairs, etc. that result in losses. 84 gallons is literally less than 2 drums of oil. My grandparents both served in combat and won't discuss a lot of the things that happened. I have worked around guys that actually miss being in the scrap but most don't look back but so fondly of the experience. Perhaps this is why PTSD is a thing now. We shouldn't try to glorify war.
