Anecdotally, I've found that small dogs like chihuahuas or yorkies are the ones that bite the most and are often aggressive.

I always got the impression that owners of those dogs figure their bites are less threatening and so don't train them very well to not bite. I have a malamute and one of our priorities when training was to teach him to not jump and to not be aggressive. My cousin has a Pomeranian and she just... didn't care. I get nipped by that thing all the damn time. It even bites my dog and he's terrified of her.

I decided to attack the Hunter stronghold and my healer Specialist got a reaction shot upon his return and executed him in one shot.

Yeah, it's a reworking of how the campaign works. It really switches things up and it definitely feels like a new experience. I'm really liking the expansion.

Not necessarily. Five days can pass without a single mission, and I think the most I've had in such a span of time was two missions.

Yeah, War of the Chosen is the expansion I'm playing right now. It's basically what Enemy Within was to the first XCOM.

I brought my medic along since I thought it'd be a long fight, but I forgot he had a "Fear of the Chosen" trait. He spent the first half of the fight against the Assassin shaken, only recovering at the end right before I destroyed the sarcophagus. The Assassin popped up, he freaked the fuck out again, getting Obsessed, shot the Chosen, got a crit, and ended the mission right there for me.

But then basically my entire squad got Fear of the Chosen after that mission, along with two of my best soldiers getting shaken, so it might be a slow recovery.

I went through all this trouble to carry a live VIP to the extraction point and it even shows him cuffed up when I get back to the Avenger, but everyone admonishes me for killing him and I didn't get the intel reward for the mission.

I'm having more trouble with the beginning than the base game but I imagine that the faction heroes will be gamebreaking later on. Vanilla had a reverse difficulty curve too though, so I guess that's not too different.

The attitude you mention TC is so pervasive that when you work in a creative field it's really fucking difficult sometimes to convince people that the work they want you to do requires actual money as payment. There's this "What, you're just taking a couple of pictures for my wedding, why is it $200?" attitude.

All my artist friends have stories from people that ask for commissions, told it's not free, then beg, then they get really angry and start insulting them for "doing work a toddler could do".

A lot of the anime and Japanese gaming scenes are like this. It's all about girls with petite bodies and massive tits with the face of a 14 year old wearing a school girl uniform and a mini-skirt who beats people up with their butt.

I think it's pretty clear how most of this stuff is designed around a very specific demographic.

There's a bunch of different genres. I mean, yeah, this is probably the biggest proportion of VNs and stuff, but that's probably because that's where the market is biggest. Yaoi and otome games are also a thing, but I feel like the former is more targeted toward women, or maybe that's because I know too many fujoshi.

Typically I go to bed around 11 every night, so I'm well-rested and energized for work the next day.

Last night, I got into bed at 11 as usual, but when I closed my eyes, I just couldn't fall asleep. My mind was racing. The Xbox One X is not only the most powerful console ever created, but it is also the smallest console on the market.

I tossed and turned in bed. I could not get comfortable. How could I expect to just drift off to sleep knowing that this November, just 4 months from now, gamers will get to experience true raw power, right from their living rooms?

I called up my girlfriend, who goes to bed at 8pm (as women are wont to do). "Hey babe," I said. I could hear her shifting from her sleep. "I can't sleep. I keep thinking of how powerful Microsoft's latest console, the Xbox One X is. Never before has a home console been a 6 teraflop powerhouse before and contained 12GB of RAM."

"Babe," she said, "it's 11pm. I need my 16 hours of sleep so I can face a full day tomorrow of being indecisive about what I want to eat for every meal. Why are you so concerned with such raw power so late at night?"

I howled with disgust. "Woman, listen to me," I screamed into the phone. "It is not every day that such a powerful console comes out. There has never been a console with such speed, yet such elegance, and there never will be again, at least until Microsoft makes the next Xbox. If you cannot understand this situation then perhaps we should see other people."

With that, I hung up on my ex-girlfriend and chucked my iPhone across the room. It smashed against the wall and landed into a pile of my other broken iPhones. Now I am exhausted at work and the Xbox One X is still the most powerful and smallest console on the market.

Hated the gameplay of the first 2. Played through all of the 3rd. From what I remember from looking up backstory and playing the 3rd game, Triss cast a spell on Geralt to make him fall in love with her. And that Yennefer is Geralt's "one true love" due to fate, or something like that.

It's something from the third game. It's even in the books, the short story called The Last Wish, which is the same name as the sidequest, that tells of how Geralt and Yennefer met in the first place.

What Triss did was just take advantage of an amnesiac man who she'd been in love with for many years.

Black Canadian is most often used. For Americans who hold Canadian citizenship as well, I probably just hear American the most.

The worst one for me was the motorcycle chase I think after the Shagohod fight through the Jungle.

The chase is before the jungle part because that's when EVA crashes the bike. That's precisely the part I was referring to because I remember spending a lot of time trying to get those damn frogs on the PS2, and apparently I missed one in the game anyways because I didn't get the stealth camo.

It was my first Zelda game and thus holds a special place in my heart. Some things feel really weird going back after so long, like the painfully slow dialogue scroll speed, but it's still one of my favourite ones.

The ending was also the first time I cried from a video game.
