It's that feeling of moving on... there's something so bittersweet about it.

when it comes to gamefaqs, in the past few years I actually frequent & post at non-gaming forums far more than I do the gaming-related ones & I only play for a few hours per week now (and it's going to be less and less as time goes). In fact, I noticed my siblings & my girlfriend play more than I do and they're no gamers.

Shit... I guess I'm growing out of it now... >_> And by this I mean, I actually don't see myself turning back..

Be fat or you're not an American...

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/08/03/science/overweight-skinny-asians-americans.html?smid=tw-nytimesscience&smtyp=cur

Obesity: It’s as American as a double serving of apple pie.

That may be an exaggeration, but the reality is that the United States is exceptionally overweight. And, according to a new study, that may affect perceptions of who is and is not American.

The authors of the study — published last week in Psychological Science, the journal of the Association for Psychological Science — found that heavier Asian-Americans are more likely to be perceived as “American” than those of a normal weight. The researchers also found that overweight Asian-American men were less likely than those of a normal weight to be viewed as being in the country illegally.

“We found that there was a paradoxical social benefit for Asian-Americans, where extra weight allows them to be seen as more American and less likely to face prejudice directed at those assumed to be foreign,” said Sapna Cheryan, an author of the study and an associate professor of psychology at the University of Washington, where the research was conducted.

But it isn’t simply that heavier people are seen as more American: The authors did not find the same effect for whites, blacks or Latinos. Instead, they suggest, assumptions about where Asian-Americans come from seem to play a role.

As an Asian American man this irks me.... So despite being born & raised here, assimilated and have a white American girlfriend, I still not considered American unless I gain weight? Fuck this.

LP's official & touching statement

https://www.facebook.com/linkinpark/posts/10155478666281788

Dear Chester,

Our hearts are broken. The shockwaves of grief and denial are still sweeping through our family as we come to grips with what has happened.

You touched so many lives, maybe even more than you realized. In the past few days, we’ve seen an outpouring of love and support, both public and private, from around the world. Talinda and the family appreciate it, and want the world to know that you were the best husband, son, and father; the family will never be whole without you.

Talking with you about the years ahead together, your excitement was infectious. Your absence leaves a void that can never be filled—a boisterous, funny, ambitious, creative, kind, generous voice in the room is missing. We’re trying to remind ourselves that the demons who took you away from us were always part of the deal. After all, it was the way you sang about those demons that made everyone fall in love with you in the first place. You fearlessly put them on display, and in doing so, brought us together and taught us to be more human. You had the biggest heart, and managed to wear it on your sleeve.

Our love for making and performing music is inextinguishable. While we don’t know what path our future may take, we know that each of our lives was made better by you. Thank you for that gift. We love you, and miss you so much.

Until we see you again,

LP

We do have awesome sex life and we been together for more than 2 years now (she often gives me amazing head, too lol). It just that on my end I need to put in a little more work. You need to be super alpha and aggressive with a size queen + a fantastic personality. They're very demanding.

I'm guessing you thought this would be a humble bragging topic but sadly enough, I don't think it is. It's basically a way of saying, "My gf loves giant dick and I have to struggle to keep up."

With a size queen a 7 inch D is only meeting the "minimum requirement" and 8 - 9 incher is actually the ideal (correct me if I'm wrong). My gf always say mine is "plenty adequate" but I have a feeling she's just being nice - like, that's her way way of saying "you only meet the minimum requirement".

When you're only 7 inches down there (like me) you only meet the "minimum requirement", so I always need be a bit more rough with my girlfriend (more choking, hair pulling, be more dominant etc..) to satisfy her.

Women who are "size queen" love "pain" and love to be "stretched out" so yeah.. if you either lack in size or only meet the minimum requirement, you need to be more aggressive than normal in the bedroom + an awesome personality to make up for it.

I love my gf, she is a beauty queen and is amazing in the sack, but ya know.... sex with a size queen feel like work, like it is a job. We still love the hell out of each other through lol.

And honestly, as an Asian guy having a "size queen" in my arms does boost my ego. And I hope I play my part in helping combat racist stereotypes toward Asian men. Her close friends actually surprised at the fact that she's with an "Asian guy" considering her size queen reputation.

...or do you think that's too conflicting?

I'm an Asian/Vietnamese American man, I LOVE being Asian and I am very proud of my Asian/Vietnamese root, BUT I also like and appreciate America, I have a white American girlfriend, I watch American TV shows, I'm a gun owner, I eat both Asian & American foods etc..

all that said sometimes I feel like I'm too "Americanized" to be full Asian and not "patriotic" enough to be a real American, either.

Do you think it's really possible to be proud of both (being Asian & an American)? Or is there going to be conflict of interest?

Linkin Park Scores Sixth No. 1 Album on Billboard 200 Chart With 'One More Light'

Linkin Park notches its sixth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart, as One More Light debuts atop the tally. The set earned 111,000 equivalent album units in the week ending May 25, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 100,000 were in traditional album sales. The album is Linkin Park’s seventh studio effort, and was released on May 25 through Machine Shop/Warner Bros. Records.

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption, which includes traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new June 10, 2017-dated chart (where Linkin Park bows at No. 1) will be posted in full to Billboard’s websites on Wednesday, May 31 -- one day later than usual, due to the Memorial Day holiday in the U.S.

http://www.theprp.com/2017/05/21/news/chester-bennington-claim-linkin-park-sold-will-punch-fucking-mouth/

“Either you like the song or you don’t and if you don’t like the song because you hear it and on a kneejerk reaction it’s like ‘oh it doesn’t have metal in it so I don’t like it’, that’s fine, like whatever.

But if you’re gonna be the person who says like ‘they made a marketing decision to make this kind of record to make money’ you can fucking meet me outside and I will punch you in your fucking mouth because that is the wrong fucking answer.

Because guess what, calling us a sell out for that purpose is… selling out on your fucking excuse as to why you don’t like it. You’re a fucking pussy. For any band to take musical risks because you like what you’re doing in spite of what you know some people will say they don’t like, it doesn’t matter if they like it or not–what matters is that you took the chance to do something that you felt was important to you and that’s what being an artist is all about.

When we did ‘Minutes To Midnight‘, this was a conversation we literally had, ‘this could end our career’. We all had that real honest conversation like ‘look I know we’re doing this because this is what we love and we really really… this is important to us. This could honestly be like the worst decision we’ve ever made professionally. Creatively probably the best thing, professionally it might be the worst.’ We were like ‘we’re good with that. We can live with that.’

When you make it personal, like a personal attack against who we are as people, like dude shut up. That means that I can actually have feelings about it and most of the time my feelings are I want to kill you.”

You tell 'em, Chester! Fuck the haters. OML is an amazing album.

Which States is the best to experience Southern culture? Is "Southern Hospitality" a real thing? What's their view toward Asian/Vietnamese Americans? Also, I've heard that interracial couples can get a lot of stares or even rude remarks there, how true is this? Just check to make sure if we're going to need to be on our guard.
