The vast majority of my moderations have been unfair.

I was modded for spoiler without warning for saying in the movie Titanic, the ship sinks
I also got spoiler without warning for saying cloud kills aeris. Apparently fake spoilers are still spoilers, that's what they said to my appeal.
I also got modded like 6 times in a row for warning someone posting images because the exif info could be attached. Every post mentioning it existed got modded. So privacy protection advice isn't allowed here either.

Gamefaqs has truly horrendous mods. This site would actually be better without the mods. The mods support trolling and silence genuine conversation here.

Some other general rules.
Do not post anti ps4 comments on the ps4 board. Anti anything else is OK.
Do not post pro pc topics on the pc board, only anti pc topics and pro console topics are allowed.

I prefer to suspend my disbelief as long as there's a good in-universe explanation for it. It's why I'm ok with dragons, but not ok with Mach 3 ravens.

Actually... Episode 6 had bran control ravens from winterfell and fly to East watch and over the wall and to the night King in maybe 30 seconds? So maybe mach 3 ravens is accurate.

Dunno mate, sometimes that's how ice is. Plenty of people die in real life thinking ice is thick in the middle of winter.

No, it really isn't lol.
Turbulent waters sure, but it was literally a hole in the ground. It should have been frozen to the bottom. It only takes sustained -1c to do it.
There's no reason the pond was thawed, and there's no reason it didn't refreeze in minutes.

I've lived through 67 winters in one of the coldest places in the world.

Naw, ice takes a decent amount of time to freeze to hold that amount of weight. Has to be at least 8 inches thick.

No matter how dumb the show looked due to pacing it was plausible.

OK but it's been winter, with snow on the ground for over 7 show years. So is that pond made of antifreeze?

This map description is the reason why I am really hating the fast travel this season and why I really disliked the second half of episode 6. Strategy goes out the window when ravens can deliver messages in a matter of seconds.

S4YimQS

The ice would have taken 3-4 days to freeze. More than ebough time for a real life raven to go that distance and a made up dragon fly it back.

so 4 men in the middle of a blizzard, with no cover or fire for 4 days? okay,

As someone that lives in Winnipeg.
Wherever they are, it's not cold out.

They were North of the wall, why wouldn't that stagnant water be frozen to the ground unless it's regularly +10c every day to thaw it?
If it's cold enough to blizzard, it's cold enough to create several inches of ice in a single night. Actually, since the water doesn't move, you would have enough ice to walk on in only a few hours if it's as cold as we're lead to believe.

If they dropped this 3d shit i bet viewership would increase. I saw a dramatic fall in viewers since last year when people finally got sick of 3d. I've gone to the movies every Tuesday for 15 years now. So i see the trends.

I'm against it. But i say if the American military doesn't want hard working men and women just because they had a surgery. Then those men and women should serve a country that does want them. Canada for example.

Also, transgendered people have got to be the bravest people i know. They brave physical, mental and social risks that terrify most people. Just think. How many men do you know that would be willing to have their penis pushed inside out and inserted inside them? Holy shit....
After that, gunfire should be a piece of cake.

Since this is legally assault. The child could turn around and kill the teacher.
Something those 30k a year teachers should consider before taking the risk.

Few things:

1) It wouldn't "legally be assault" because assault is a crime whereas this is explicitly legal, so that's fucking wrong
Hitting someone is never legal. It doesn't matter the age. Texas passed an illegal law. It's hilarious to think about it, but by the same measure, that means the kid could grab the metre stick and smash it over the teachers head in self defense. In most civilized parts of the world. Parents aren't even allowed to spank their children.

2) You're generally not allowed to kill somebody in self defense over a minor assault, so that's also wrong.
You shouldn't try to, but if you are being attacked, you are allowed to defend yourself. What that results in will usually be forgiven.

3) The people administering the punishment aren't the teachers themselves, so you have the trifecta of being completely wrong.
Oh? Funny cause the topic title says Texas has approved PADDLING for Teachers to PUNISH Kids this coming year!!! And the poll says Do you trust teachers to paddle children? so forgive me for not ignoring the 2 massive obvious pointers that it's the teachers doing it.

Oh, plus their teachers likely make more than $30k/year and a lot of child are neither big enough nor strong enough to kill their teachers. Plus, even if they fought back, the kids would just get an ass-whooping at home because the parents sign off on this which means that they're okay with physical discipline themselves.
http://www.teachingdegree.org/texas/salary/
Your right, my bad, they make 50k. I made more than that straight out of college, without having to beat children. But whatever.

3 out of 4 of the math examples are wrong.
Math literally is right and wrong. A math riddle is a logical impossibility. What we have here is people making shit up to try and match the proposed fiction.
Shit like this should never be mentioned in the same sentence with the word math as this isn't math. It's scribbles on a bathroom wall.

Only 1 in 1000 people can ignore what's written and imagine new symbols and numbers and form new formulas. That's what this really proves.

Anyways, it's 39.
If you remove the line returns, the formula makes sense again. Or just remove the = sign and string them all together

You're not paying him to write scribbles on a piece of paper. You're paying for him to inspect you, use his decades of expertise to rule out problems until he's found the correct condition, and then prescribe a medication that works best for you given your personal and family history. Frankly, I'm not sure you really understand how doctors work. By your logic, you could scribble something down on a piece of paper yourself and get meds.

Why would i pay for that though?
