Youtube streamlined uploading content and gathered the biggest user base first. That's the biggest part to it. It's hard to host that many videos. It would take a company of equal size to start a business to compete directly with youtube but there's no profit in it. I think I read somewhere that even youtube doesn't really make a profit with how much it costs to maintain.

you guys know there's a difference between accidentally killing someone with splash damage on an aoe attack and actively hunting your own party members, right? even fucking disgaea explored the idea by having a bad ending you can only get if you slaughter a ton of your teammates, which you'll pretty much never manage to do unless you're actively trying to

I get the TOS of it but it's the game design stand point of it I don't get. They could be spending the resources on something else and just turn off friendly fire. It's redundant.

I think it's bad design. If you don't want teamkilling then don't add friendly fire. That's the simplest path rather then having someone moderate reports and look through twitch streams and vods.

While anime is a medium the majority of the popular stuff is written really bad. However what I will say is a lot of these shows have really good concepts and settings it's just the japanese are really bad and fulfilling these plots. Sword art online: great setting and starting plot, bad execution.

As long as features aren't hidden behind loot boxes it's fine and it's a good way for a company to fund further development of the game. BlackOps 3 had a terrible box system were they put a ton of weapons behind boxes and but also had dlc you had to pay for. Overwatch on the other hand is a more decent one with only cosmetics in boxes and which funds the free dlc and new content.

Huh? What are you talking about? There can only be seven of the sentient titans at once so that doesn't even make any sense lol. And only two protagonists are titans, with Armin not even becoming one until very recently. He hasn't even participated in a single fight either. And there's just as much politics as there is action. Especially the arc starting after where the anime is going to end.

You made a good point about the concept vs execution, but the other part you said is wrong in a lot of ways.

I don't know i haven't watched or read the books but every preview and scenes I've seen online looked terrible.
besides there's so many plot holes when it comes to titans attacking anyway. I just don't think it's written well.
